  2. I have a Steyr Mannlicher M95/30 for sale, chambered in 8x56r. comes with 20 rounds of nazi marked 8x56r ammo in clips and bayonet. i took this in on trade and put 10 rounds through it to check for function. its a nice import marked rifle with a almost new finish, the stock could use some refinish work but has no cracks or gouges or indents in the wood, just seems like the varnish is thin in some spots.

    $200

  3. I have a Remington 870 wingmaster 12ga for sale, it was a ohio highway patrol cruiser gun. since its a older wingmaster it's chamberd for 2 3/4 shells only. It has a parkerized finish, 20in smooth bore barrel with rifle sights, has a 7 round mag tube, so it's 7+1 capacity, also has a speed feed stock set from the factory. also has the highway patrol emblem engraved in the reciever and a highway patrol medalion in the bottom of the stock. since it was a service gun, there are handling marks and a couple small scratches which i tried to picture. i have a box, but it's not the correct box, when the armor issued the new 870 police magnums to replace these older wingmasters, i can only assume they put the old wingmaster they took out of service into the box the new police magnum came in that they replaced it with. the serial number for this gun is s430070v

    $400 obo

Its in great shape finish wise, no scratches in the blueing becides some wear marks from the action on the shell tube, there is some marks in the wood stock right behind the trigger though.

  6. I have a pretty rare egyptian rasheed rifle, it's 7.62x39 (ak/sks ammo), with roughly 8,000 made and only 2,000 imported in the u.s, you may never see one of these in person  it's in great shape as far as old military rifles go, stock isn't all beat up and it's never been reworked as far as any metal being re parkerized.

heres a link for a decent write up on the rifle if you want to know more.

  7. I am guessing it is because of people like the OP. And the walmarts I have been to doesn't have a 6 box limit. There was like 20 boxes of federal 9mm and a few boxes of 40sw at the walmart on bethal last time I checked.

    your a idiot.........

read the posts before you comment......

  8. You sold it in 6 hours?

and to who because im going to the store to buy 20 more boxes for the next time this person need more ammo for his 9...

a guy on glock talk, i listed it on 5 sites ;) i guess not every walmart across the country has it in stock........

do it and list it, you might make a couple dollars if you can get it and ship it for under $12 a box.

also i heard walmart only sells 6 boxes at a time, so you may have to make more then one trip.......

  9. They are selling Federal Champion 9mm Luger 115 grain FMJ at my local walmart for 8.97 a box. Whats the difference between yours and those?

    i don't know, i didn't get them at walmart......

$70.00 dollars better then walmart apparently...:bs:

Shaft your not one of those people who bought up all the ammo a when it was scares, and kept it because you thought you could get a ton of money on resale...? not calling you out or anything...but thats to much money, ill give you $100 for all of it.

yes and no, when the ammo scare was going on, i traded 1,000 rounds of blazer .40 for a glock 26, still got the glock, wonder if the guy still has that ammo lol.

got this ammo with a trade, so i thought it was worth atleast 12 a box with what i seen it selling online for.

    SOLD anyway :)

  10. Yeah, that is what both vances and nasr said. I think I am going to hold off on the gun purchase right now. Its going to be about $350, plus shells, plus cc license cost, plus holster etc etc.

Just more than I want to spend right now.

Thanks for all of your help everybody. Much appreciated.

if you weren't stuck on the manual safety issue, you could pick up a new keltec p11 for about $280, great little gun for the price but again no manual safety just a looong trigger pull.

  11. S&W Sigmas are junk, I've had two - a .40 and a 9mm. Trigger pull was like lifting a barbell with my finger and at least one round a magazine jammed no matter what brand of ammo.

a $12 trigger spring fixes that, as far as jamming, i never had a issue with any of mine, ofcourse i polished my feed ramp on all of them. what was the jamming issue, failure to feed or failure to eject?

If it's for your piece of mind, you might consider not having a round chambered. I recently purchased a Glock, and am getting used to it and the holster/how I feel comfortable carrying it. Since I am fiddling with it so much I have not had a round chambered when carrying.

While many will say this is not the ideal level of readiness, I have also been practicing racking the slide while drawing. Since I am not blistering on the draw as it is, it has not significantly slowed down my speed.

    H

try chambering a round with one had  and while were on that topic, should spend time at the range shooting off hand, as in if your right handed, shoot with your left and vise versa. never know if you will be in a situation where your shooting hand in broken or un useable.

  12. After looking at the sigma, I guess it doesn't have a safety switch either, just the trigger style safety.

lol, I guess I narrowed it down to the Walther of the 3 I mentioned.

    Any recommendations guys?

whats the big deal about the safety? your trigger finger is the only safety you need, unless you carry a 1911 type .45 then i would use the thumb safety since its a exposed hammer single action only gun.

  13. My grandpa has a few guns and I was curious to see what they were worth. I didn't find much searching google. Can anyone point me in the right direction or know what these might be worth?

One gun is from ww1. It says deutsche waffen und munitionsfabriken berlin 1914 gem98

Another is a double barrel 410 in really good shape. Wards Western Field Model 52-SB311-TA

it depends what shape the mauser (ww1) gun is in and if it's been "sporterized" or not. as for the 410, you might try your local library and check out the gun values book.

  14. If I were doing a repo, I wouldn't give the owner any chance of knowing what was going on if I could help it. Which means waiting until they are out of sight to go for the car. That is the last situation I would want to end up in, but assuming I was in the middle of a repo and the owner appeared and was acting like that, my gun would stay hidden until either they pull a weapon, or I get physically attacked.

    THIS........

and my buddy who does repo in cleveland says he can't legally repo the car if they are in it and the car is running or they are driving it. but as soon as they park it and leave, then its fair game......

so your story makes nosense to me......

  15. wonder what ammo he was using.. if it was a +p round i could see that

all my glocks are rated for +p+, it could have been a bad load though, as in 3x the powder. It was a brand new gun though and never fired before, so its hard to say if it was the ammo or the gun........

on a side note, my buddy did have a squib load out of a box of white winchester 9mm value pack he bought at walmart. it was enough to eject the brass on his G26 but the next round bulged the barrel and broke the slide when it hit the bullet lodged from the squib load still in the barrel.

winchester only agreed to cover half of the repairs to the glock:rolleyes:
