what model is the mugen? how many gallons on the engine?

Just very underpowered. Gas mileage is decent though. There is an issue with the fuel canisters that let air pressure leave the tank that I have seen a few times. If you can, try filling it with gas, if the pump stops before the tank is full or close to it, it could be the reason.

OK, maybe I did then. I really couldn't remember... :lolguy: I think I did do them when I did the fuel filter, now that I think about it. I just did plugs tho, so maybe the wires or coils? I put autolite 104s in it I think.

Does it still look hella good? I dont think i ever changed the plugs. Owner before me did to adjust for some mods i think. Id check there Vince. I did replace the fuel filter and do a coolant and trans flush.

I have the chance to pick up what seems to be a pretty decent deal on a pair of 99 yamaha xl760s for $3k with a dual trailer. Given that they are in good shape, is that a good price? They are a friend of mines and have been in storage for 2 years, what should I look for when I go see them? I've never owned any type of pwc or watercraft before, and this seems like a reasonably inexpensive way into something.
