  1. Did you ever watch that ESPN special on him? He pretty much changed his entire release in 3 weeks time, that documentary made me say "damn that kid has a I will prove you wrong" will about him
  2. Haha thats what I am thinking. He wanted to race me this past summer at the track with his 370z that "ran 9s" lol. That race never happened as he backed out, due to feeling the race wasn't fair and he needed to do stuff to his car. So then I have my clutch go out and park the car for the year, he buys a GTR and suddenly the call outs begin lol.
  3. Yeah man, heres his freshman year stats "Ranked first in the SEC and fifth nationally with five forced fumbles and tied for first in the conference in fumble recoveries with three ... Led the team with seven pass breakups ... Fourth on the team in tackles with 57 ... Was an absolute playmaker on the season with 8.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, seven pass breakups, five forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and two interceptions ... Earned Cotton Bowl Defensive Most Outstanding Player award after the best game of his young career in which he recorded seven tackles, one tackle for loss, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, one interception, one sack and one pass breakup ... "
  4. So a 18 year old kid here locally just picked one of these up and suddenly anyone that has a semi fast car is on his to race list (at the track). I am just wanting and needing to know what a 09 GTR will most likely run at trails. I know its a hard question to answer due to all the variables, but I have heard conflicting stories about these cars. I have heard they run mid 12s, I've heard low 11s out of the box. I have also read that they have a stock speed limited of 112mph?!!
  5. Haha yeah, but people seem to think he is some great QB. I didn't like that guy when he was at NC State, let alone now in the NFL. There are more, Vince Young has an ugly delivery
  6. Umm yeah Tyrann Mathieu is a fucking beast. Have you watched that kid play? The scary thing is he is only a sophmore. Honestly I think he is having a far better season then Woodson did when he won the award. 71 tackles, 2 INT's, 5 Forced Fumbles, 1.5 sacks, 16.1 yard average on punt returns, 2 TD's on returns. I can't find how many he has recovered but I know its atleast 3. Woodson for comparison 44 Tackles, 8 INT's, 1 sack, 8.7 yard average 1TD. He played offense which helped his claim, but overall i'd say Mathieu had a much better season.
  7. Official Heisman invite list has been released: Montee Ball, Robert Griffin III, Andrew Luck, Tyrann Mathieu, Trent Richardson. Who wins? My order would be: RG3 Tyrann Mathieu Monte Ball Andrew Luck Trent Richardson I still think Barkley should've been invited
  8. Umm maybe you aren't aware of when Ginn played here and when Butch Reynolds left... Ginn left in 07, Reynolds left in 08, since then what burners has Ohio State had? The linebackers are terribly slow this year minus Ryan Shazier, the safety position here has been slow and unathletic looking in recent years, Boom is a solid back but he's not super fast by any means, neither was Beanie. BTW Saine was slow as fuck while at Ohio State, show me 1 play where you saw him and said "oh damn that boy fast", you won't find one because he simply never showed the 10.3 100m burst that everyone talked about. He ran a 4.4 at the combine, but on the field he is not a 4.4 type player. Ginn was world class fast and is the last real burner OSU has had at the WR position, who since have we had? Robiske 4.6-4.7 40, Sanzenbacher 4.57, Hartline 4.5, cmon i'll be waiting for your reply. Look at the current WR's there is no burner. Everyone claims Philly Brown to be this super fast guy, yet only 1 time this year did he really get any sort of seperation and honestly that was the first time in the 2 years he has played here that he has done so. Ohio State needs guys like Ginn, Gonzalez and Holmes at the WR position if they want to compete with the big boys and finally get over the hump and regularly compete against the SEC type teams. Phil you're a Michigan fan, your opinion is instantly null and void :lolguy:
  9. I would much rather have a guy that makes the rest of the team better (Tebow) than some guy who just has great stats but his team still sucks dick (Newton). I understand that college and NFL defenses are different, my point is, the kid can throw the ball. People act like he can't toss is more then 20yards or something. I can think of others with far worse looking throwin motions, Phillip Rivers anyone?
  10. Looks like Urban has brought his speed/conditioning coach from Florida up here and Lichter will be gone. I dont think OSU has had any real burners since Butch Reynolds left the program, hopefully they can get some faster guys at the skill positions as I hav said all year long there was no home run threat on this team and on the roster currently for that matter
  11. Cam has started 5 more games this year then Tebow! Again the only thing that matters is wins, Tebow has 6 of them as a starter in 7 games, Newton has 4 /debate lol BTW sCam has 100 rushes, Tebow has 82...so where are you getting your numbers? Tebow- 468yds 3 TDs, 5.7 average Newton- 518yds 13 TDs, 5.2 average And again Tebow has played in 5 less games then Newton. We shall come back to this argument/debate in 5 years to see where each of these guys are at in their careers. I think Tebow will be Alex Smith like (leading team to playoffs without huge numbers) and Newton will be Vince Young like (backup) One more edit simply because I can, where do people get the whole Tebow can't throw the ball thing from? Did anyone watch him vs Cincy in his final college game? He absolutely went HAM on them. Plus look at his college stats, over 65% career completion and 9k yards
  12. So its now Tebows fault that his offensive coordinator/headcoach (whoever is in charge of play calling), is only calling passing plays about 15 times a game? I would be more apt to agree with you if Tebow was simply taking the snap, dropping back and instantly running, rather then throwing. That simply isnt the case here, yesterday he threw 2 amazing passes, 1 was dropped (would've been a TD) and the other was ruled out of bounds due to players foot being on the white line. You give him those 2 completions and suddenly his stat line is 12 for 15 with 275 yards and 3TDs. Newton started the year playing out of his mind, but has come down to reality. If you look at the last 3 games for Tebow he has gotten progressivley better! IDC who they are playing, every team in the NFL is loaded with talent, if they weren't they wouldnt be in the league. Heres the big stat that stands out to me, TURNOVERS!! Tebow- 4 Newton- 17!!!! Tebow puts his team in position to win by not turning the ball over and coming through in the 4th quarter. Newton puts his team in position to lose by air mailing INT's
  13. Eric Decker has dropped a bunch of balls this year including a couple wide open bombs that would've been TD's. You give Tebow a stud WR and then see what he can do. They seem to have the running game in tact, just need to surround him with some more weapons and I really think he could be successful. I mean hell he did win 2 national titles and score over 60 tds in the SEC, and we all know that the SEC is better then half of the NFL lmfao
  14. You take Tim Tebow off the Florida teams he played on and they are not a very good team. You take him off the Broncos and well, they are a 1-4 team lol. sCam is a physical freak much like Terelle Pryor, however his off the field antics and ego are what I dislike the most about him. That and the fact that all I heard last year was how he was the greatest thing since sliced bread
  15. BTW Denvers defense is 16th overall, Carolina is 22nd, thats not a real huge difference. Denver- 3908 yards given up Carolina- 4071 Denver- 355 yards per game given up Carolina 370 Denver 23.7 points per game given up Carolina 27 Now flip that around and look at ppg on offense vs the 2 Denver- 26th overall offense Carolina- 5th overall offense Denver- 20.1 ppg Carolina- 22.9
  16. What weapons does Tebow have? They have no WR's that you could name if you didn't watch a game of theirs. You think Carolina and instantly Steve Smith comes to mind. Denvers defense was the same defense that was getting worked while going 1-4! The first 5 games they lose 4 of them to the likes of Oakland, Tennesee, Green Bay (i'll give ya that one lol) and San Diego. They then got shredded 2 weeks later against Detroit. After that they have ran off 5 straight wins in huge part to Tebow's come from behind tactics. I do agree that at times its a "omg what is he doing" type deal, but it quickly goes to a "holy shit he just pulled a rabbit out of his ass". You know who has to be the most pissed about this streak, John Elway himself lol. He hates Tebow, but now he's in a situation where the fans absolutely love Tim, the teams playing much better and they are in 1st place in their division lmfao!! The next 4 games for them will be a challenge and will show if Tebow is real or a fluke. They have Chicago (will prob win that one), New England (prob a loss), Buffalo (depends on which Bills team shows up) and close out with Kansas City (should win that). If they win 3 of those, that puts them at 10-6 and in the playoffs, at week 5 this team was thinking top 5 draft pick lol
  17. Haha and yet he is 6-1 as a starter, he may not be the prettiest thrower or whatever, but he gets the job done. You know damn well if Denver is within 6-7 points (maybe even 8) in the 4th quarter, that odds are they will win the game simply because that kid shows up when it counts. I can name some other qbs that were a lot worse looking early in their careers. Alex Smith ring a bell? He is now the qb on a 10-2 San Fran team lol. Tebow may never be an all pro, hell he may never throw for more then 2k yards in a season, he will be a winner in the league though in my opinion, simply because he has the "it" factor that gets tossed around freely.
  18. Newton got paid more in college... I won't cast a vote because mine is biased as I am a huge fan of Tebow and absolutely hate sCam Newton. BTW whos the better QB, Dan Marino or Trent Dilfer? Dilfer has a SB ring as a starter, Marino doesn't....see how numbers sometime don't mean jack shit
  19. Oklahoma vs Iowa? Baylor vs Washington? ^^ Who comes up with these matchups?
  20. Va Tech to a BCS game, are you fucking kidding me? Michigan just got a present from the BCS committee!! Va Tech is 1-5 in BCS games lmfao
  21. Boise vs Arizona State in the Las Vegas Bowl, looks like my 2nd favorite team will earn a bowl victory over a pac12 team lol.
  22. I'll go ahead and answer, all but 2 games on that list are going to be shown on an ABC owned network
  23. LSU/Bama part 2 is official, this is total bullshit! I seriously hope the ratings for this matchup are horrible
  24. I saw this on Honda-Tech of all places and thought "damn that car moves out"
  25. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=6672862 ^^ Anyone notice something in common with all these games but 2?
