Had that been a tie between say 11-1 Texas and Oklahoma, one of them would've gotten in over Ohio State. Maybe there is some merit to what TCU's coach was saying, I just think he came off as a cry baby about it.

I rarely scratch my head when it comes to recruiting. These coaches know more than the average guy about a kid they offer.

Bennett isn't super tall, listed at 6'2. Michael Hill, Tommy Schutt who are also DT's on the roster are 6'2. The height thing to me only matters with DE's who are batting balls down and using their arms to rush the passer. For a DT, he just has to take up space, get double teams and allow the linebackers to hit gaps freely. The kid has to be talented in order to get an offer from OSU. The stars don't matter, as you said they ding kids for various reason, there is several 3 star kids that turn out to be studs and 5 stars that turn out to be duds.

3* DT Robert Landers (50th ranked DT in the class) from Huber Heights flipped from West Virginia to Ohio State tonight. He is the 24th member of the 2015 class, you have to believe there is only 1 spot left in this class, they have stated they want to add another DT still as well. Apparently the kid blew up in the playoffs this year, enough to warrant an offer. They say he isn't ranked higher, due to not attending a bunch of camps. He makes the 8th kid to flip from another school to OSU in this class.

I think Minnesota will be the team to win the B10 West next year. Nebraska and Wisconsin are going to drop off in my opinion. They play TCU again and Ohio State, but other than that I don't see another team on paper that will beat them.

Just saw an interesting stat tonight, over the last 20 years OSU has the best record in college football. We have discussed teams that are good on a consistent basis, but I never thought OSU would be #1 over the last 20 years. Their record is 205-49, Bama is 13th with a record of 176-77

If he wins 2 NC in the next 5 years and retires then I am around a 2. He would've stayed longer than I expected him to have and 2 national titles are nothing to be mad about haha.

I always wonder who the next OSU coach will be after Urban, do they stay in house and get an "OSU guy" or do they go after whoever the best coach in the country at that time is, ect..

I agree its a dumb move, I don't see what 7 days is going to do for him, has to be part of the job requirement though. If anything it's a shitty move on his part towards the OSU team. Kind of leaves them high and dry heading into the biggest game of the year, should they make it there. I think Urban/Warriner would do a good job in that game though honestly.

Yeah I give him credit for his work this year with the qb's. I personally think losing Warriner would be more of a loss than losing Herman. OSU will hang 50+ once again next year and every year until the rest of the B10 catches up talent wise, regardless of who the OC is.
