Had my best on the last pass. Spun bad every pass before. Went 9.24@ 151.66 :fuckyeah: The bad, pass front tire blew thru the lights at 151mph!!!!. Kept it off the wall but tore up the fender and destroyed the pass side turbo charge pipe. Track officials said I was done for the day for running so fast but I was done due to the tire mishap anyway. Wagner, good thing your gopro was not on the fender on that pass as the tire pieces would have taken it out.:no:

 

That's a bad ass car. I must have left before your incident, unless that was the tow truck going to get you around 2:45. Great job keeping the damage to what it was and glad you are OK.

Very true. But unfortunately, we no longer have a brazilian steakhouse in cbus. There used to be one at Crossroads, but I believe it was shut down due to health violations. I think the closest one is in Cincy now.

 

There is one coming to Easton. It is supposed to be open by Fall. (Where Martini Park used to be.)

I am in for Quaker City. Edgewater used to stay open through November too. I have not been there for two years but I don't think tech was an issue then.

Thanks for another great track day!! I ran a couple of 11.4x and got the boot but they were very nice and warned me the first time so no big deal. See you guys at D42 in November if we have the next on there.

We're a go, they're calling for 40s and sunny according to D42. They're also prepping both lanes the full 1/4 for an extra $100. Bring your wallets.

 

For $100, its a no brainer - good deal. Weather sounds like its gonna be good too.

I am good with whatever you decide to do - either one or both lanes. There is not going to be that many cars there and I think that most will have slicks or DRs.

I still think that the biggest issue is the school's non-response to the digital harassment. That is a huge issue that is in the news right now. If there were racial slurs and threats of violence on the texts, there is no way they can choose to ignore that or put if off until an appointment can be made. Do you have evidence of the text messages?

 

Second issue is making her walk home. She made it home safe, so other than expressing your displeasure, I am not sure how much the school board will punish the principal for that. It's not right but I bet that he skates on being held responsible for that.

Yes. GTO is a Holden. Maybe this was just imported here from Australia? There is a guy in Cleveland (Painesville) that has a Holden Monaro that he shipped over on a boat when he moved here from Australia (along with several other cars).

IMO the main issue is digital harassment that was ignored and also the fact that your neice was made to walk home that distance on a potentially unsafe route. I think that is what you should be upset about.

 

It seems to me that she could take at least some of the blame for the actual fight. Because she was pulled off of the other girl by her neck does not seem to be unreasonable to me either. If the other girl was on top, I don't think that you would care if she was pulled off by her eye sockets.

 

I am not a lawyer but I think that you would have to have some actual damages to be able to recover anything in a suit. It doesn't sound like there are any damages. Maybe going to the police would be smarter than going to a lawyer.

She gets racial and threatening texts from another student and then has to make an appointment to talk to someone about them??? With everything that has happened around the country with race related violence and bullying in schools, how can the they have a policy like that? I say definitely go to the Principal and let him know that you plan to contact the Superintendent and the school board. I think you should try to be as civil as possible with him but let him know that you are not happy and follow through with going over his head. See what kind of response or action you get before you decide what to do next. That text should have been dealt with immediately by the school.

Corsa is mild at idle and sounds great at WOT and no drone on the highway. Gut the cats. Once you eliminate the cats you will require a tune or you will throw codes all the time. Catback with high flow cats may get by without a tune.

 

If he is going to eliminate cats and mufflers then he should probably expect drone and tune to turn off O2 sensors. It is good that he is not expecting power gain because no matter which exhaust he chooses, HP gain will be basically non-existant.
