  1. I have a Tial 44, has been mounted with car idling but never seen boost. 13lb spring if I remember. $300 and I'll ship it tomorrow. http://photos-b.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs020.snc1/4242_1154340864803_1416120071_400177_443365_n.jpg http://photos-a.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs020.snc1/4242_1154340784801_1416120071_400176_7025360_n.jpg
  2. I do what I do to pay for my current education, so that my answer to your question will someday be "because I love doing what I do".

    Hi

    What's up Ricky?
  4. My macbook starts up from dead start to idle in 20 seconds.
  5. I'm not going to get into a mac vs. pc argument so I'll refrain from posing anymore. Those whom use macs, cheers.
  6. What is it based off? Never, in my 5 years of owning macs have I ever had even a minor problem with an operating system. The simplicity and capabilities of OS X Leopard are incredible.
  7. Macs come preloaded with boot camp now, so you just throw in a windows operating system cd and go. It's very simple. I just hate having to format 30gigs of my hd for an operating system just to run 1 program on. I also run parallels so I can be running both operating systems at the same time in different windows. IMO nothing compares to OS X Leopard.
  8. I just installed vista on my macbook as I need a windows operating system so I can run my AEM tuning software. I've never been so lost and confused before (being a mac user for many years doesn't help). A family member had a vista basic CD sitting around so I just used it. It sucks having a 2nd operating system on a computer just for tuning. Space Ghost, you'll be very happy with a mac.
  9. Plates will remain. BOV flange welded on, bracing system for turbo on (bracket doubles for new oil filter location), dump tube done, test pipe in progress. 11. It's not going to be a dyno queen. I'll be autocrossing/road racing for much of this summer. Many of the high number S2K guys are competitive. If I were to build this thing N/A I would have already spent more than I have on my current setup to reach a power level not even close to what my setup will be making. I just couldn't justify spending an arm and a leg for very minimal gains when I can spend the same or a less amount of money for a setup with outstanding gains. Sure a n/a tuned S2K is great fun, but a boosted high hp S2k for the same price is going to be a hell of a lot more fun. As you said, to each their own.
  12. I've yet to see a F20C or F22C break over 325whp n/a. I've seen quite a few in the 600's and a select few in the 700's turbocharged. n/a tuning on this engine is very expensive as well. My total build cost INCLUDING the car is ~$26,000 +-$1000. In the future I may upgrade the valvetrain and string this pig out to 9500rpm+.
