  1. I'm getting sick of the "Fire Fickell" folks that are now making up things. That he ran a shitty defense in 2011 (Heacock was still the coord and they weren't a bad defense) that he can't develop linebackers (he has developed multiple first round picks and many more draft picks)

    Ugh

Fickell, Withers, and Combs need the boot. I like Combs enthusiasm, but he does not improve college talent and needs to go back to high school coaching. Last 2 years has been the same story on Defense with no improvement. LB's outside of Shazier are lost puppies. Average QB's continue to put up career numbers and torch the secondary. over 1,000 yards the last 2 games given up. Way too frustrating going from a dominate defense and a average/slighty above offense to ugly defense and good offense.

  2. I am in no way shape or form an OSU fan. So I am about as impartial as you can get. Kenny when given the chance, has done what he has needed to do and then some. I have never understood why Braxton has this lock hold on the starting position when he hasn't won any championships. An undefeated season doesn't mean squat to me if you don't have the championship when it's all said and done.

Miller has played 1 game this season....if Guiton was the better choice he would be starting. IDk about you...but I think Meyer knows what he is doing. Guiton's short throwing is weak and slow, vs good teams those balls are picks. When have they had a chance to win a championship with Miller starting?

  3. On another note, who will be coaching USC and Texas next year? Roby is an absolute stud and my favorite player the last 2 years. I thought Shazier had a pretty good game yesterday, he seemed to be around the ball at all times, especially in the first half. I didn't really pay attention but did Decker have a better game? I know Marcus Hall had a terrible one penalty wise, I believe he had 4.

Is it crazy to think Herman could go to Texas for HC opportunity given OSU takes care of business? Beat me ^^

  4. I have issues with the way the Collegiate and NFL coaches handle misbehavior of thier players.

Keep your team respectable, and i have no problems.

So he is suppose to be with the players 24/7. He has punished everyone in the wrong accordingly since he joined OSU. What else is he suppose to do? Hyde is just a person of interest, wait until the facts and video show up.

  5. Your hat should be off To Brady Hoke and staff for not putting Denard on the field the same time as Gardner the second half. What a moron call that was.

I mean you might as well walk over and tell Urban what play you are calling by putting Denard in at QB and he can't throw the ball. SMH at really poor coaching.

Not really, when you stuff Renard on 4th and short it kind of makes you question what will work. But yeah, they didn't even really try to get him on the field as a misdirection.

  6. "BE turmoil ensues, game with TCU needs to be scheduled, so UC asks OSU to move to 2018, which they agree. TCU backs out of BE, but OSU/UC decide to leave as is, and UC finds another game instead."

ROFL, you still don't see it, and it is right there. Man, OSU is super scared of cincy.

"I read OSU is missing 7 starters from the kickoff coverage unit. Idk if that is since the beginning of the year or what but thats crazy to think when you consider theres only 11 out there and 1 of them is the kicker"

Yeah, I forget who but some true freshmen got dinged up on special teams. They are hurting everywhere, hopefully Hall redshirts and plays next year 100% healthy.

  7. Yes, they did opt out to take a buyout....because UC contacted them about the schedule issue. I'm sorry you don't see that. You act like everyone here said OSU never backs out of games. I think you are just upset. Pretty much every article but the one you posted mentions Cincy and their schedule issue and TCU joining the big east. Pulled into? HAHA how about not spewing your opinion as fact.
  8. I know, just saying... They scheduled to play UC in Cincinnati in 2012, deal made in 2003, when the Bearcats were mediocre at best.... then UC started becoming better, and they decided in 2008 to first cancel the game but after a lot of negotiating, they wouldnt play in Cincinnati and paid UC $1M to move the game to Columbus.... then UC got even better, and OSU decided to cancel the game, and replace UC with UCF this year. (I guess they technically moved the game to 2016)

the only point I am making is, OSU does it too, why get bitter and bash Vandy? And before you give a reason (which may be valid) on why OSU backed out and moved the game, consider that Vandy may as well... Just dont be a hypocrite.

UC approached OSU about it due to scheduling issues with the Big East (TCU). They are still playing the 2014 game iirc. UC still got cash and OSU still benefits from the recruiting aspects. Uc would have probably lost, they lost a lot of seniors. I wouldn't call that OSU backing out. Have they ever? yes, will they do it again? yes, but not in this case.

  9. Reid Fragel has been a nice suprise moving over to the tackle position from TE. I was a bit worried but he has been very good. Hell he was dominating Gholston on saturday. I havent noticed many false starts, holding, ect...which like you said is a good thing. You never wanna hear an o-linemans number called during a game as its most likely gonna be a penalty haha.

I agree that no running back has stepped up and shown they have the ability to be a game changer. That needs to change, running Braxton all the time will eventually catch up to either he (injury) or OSU (loss). I am not a fan of Urbans offense really, he has only produced I believe 1 1000 yard running back during his time as a head coach. I understand a ton of backs are getting touches and Braxton is basically the runningback, but they have got to find some other playmakers.

You don't think they are doing exactly that? Thats all Meyer has been talking about this season and they are not stepping up. Hence why the offense is miller. MSU knew Miller was the offense and they couldn't stop him. He needs to work on his reads and you will see a Hyde/Smith become more prevalent.
