Yes its on sale form $579.99. and I have never seen the M&P compact under $500. However there was a mail in rebate for $50 when i bought mine last year. but its not currently going on asked vances today. For about $100 less i dont think you can beat the Springfield as far as bang for the buck. Pm me if you would like to hit the rance soon no problem

I ended up buying the Springfield XD-Compact today at Vances. Comming from being a previous owner of a smith and wesson M&P Compact, I like them both alot. I feel The Xd is easier to clean. It did come with alot more Acc. then the M&P did (Hard belt holster, 2 mag holder, and Speed loader.) Shooting they are very simmlar to hard to tell a difference. I like the double Safety's on the Springfield (one on the back of the grip, and the "glock style" on the trigger.) The M&P only had a trigger safety. Also the Springfield came with a 15rd extra mag that makes the grip length identical to the sub compact which i though was pretty nice. And gave nice control. I frequent New albany so if you buy some rounds i wouldn't mind you shooting it.

ramsey- its the point and the principal. when a business says we are charging you $11.00 and they end up charging you more that was not the agreed ammount. Black and white plain and simple. If you gave your Credit card number to a place you never have before and saw extra charges I'am sure 110% of anyone with common sence would try to find out why. Anyways..... ***So I'am trying to figure out if this happened to anyone else the other night during the CR poker game that used debit credit card***....

So i used my Visa card to enter the CR Poker turney for $11.00 and it said no fee.
