Why pay on the nissan if I want it to go bye bye. I just want to get a decent trade in price on it and then Ill pay the extra little bit that gets tacked on the loan I guess. Plus I got an insurance quote and my insurance will be like $30-$40 cheaper a month for the gto which means Ill have that much more to pay for a new car.

Well the only real expense in my life is my car and Im willing to pay for a nice one. Im not terribly upside down in my car, just a little bit. And Its not that I couldnt make the payment for a new car now its just that I would like a little more saved up for a down payment and with christmas coming up Im kinda cutting into possible down payment money. After the holiday I will be totally ready financially.

I went to look at the gto today and it was gone. They sold it on friday. I also looked at a 99 cobra but it just wasnt the right one. They only wanted 13k for it though and the body was super clean but, it had tan leather interior which Im not a fan of plus, I dont think I like red cars either. Back to searching. I actually read a good article on ls1gto.com that was discussing why they dont hold their value and they were saying its because they werent a big hit during the first year and they were being marked down alot when they were new. And I guess they didnt sell nearly as many as they had hoped for due to people thinking that the style of them is too boring. Everybody wants the "retro" looking muscle cars.
