its a nice opportunity to meet people that are on the forums, plus a good chance to be able to get your car tuned correctly and such. there are some weird people i must say, but overall is a fun experience once or twice a year. Ill get the picture thread up We tried to have it at the Hoover Dam park, but something about an insurance policy and permit was needed

i should be about 315whp on my 2.0L in time for this. im running a bigger supercharger, exhaust, stock internals and stock clutch on street tires. does that put me on the street touring STX, or the stock class of DS?

Header/DP Install Hook-up? +Misfire question
TommySSSC replied to TommySSSC's topic in Tech and Tips
^^^ i am running colder plugs than stock, should i make the gap even smaller? i have 60lb injectors if that makes a difference. im starting to think that one of my plugs is being blown out on occasion. im gonna try to get a new tune this upcoming weekend as well so see if that helps -
I need a mandrel bent 3" exhuast for my cobalt ss/sc. I'd like to have it as quite and mellow as we can keep it, i know thats an understatement for full 3" exhausts. But ive heard some nasty 3" on the cobalt and some good ones. I want something that isnt going to kill my lady during daily driving, wot is another story. A good quality resonator and muffler is a must. Im looking to get this done while im on spring next week. Please let me know if you know someone, a shop that can take care of me, or if you can do it yourself. Thanks fellas, you can reach me on my cell phone if you want: 614-917-9251 Tommy Sadens

how much do you think the cr auto x event will cost compared to this one? I dont wanna look like an idiot if hit cones in front all all the professionals at the SCCA one. Also from what I understand, You have to be a member of the scca to gaurentee your spot, and then they onl take the first 30 walk-ins. How can i make sure I have a spot to race for a cople of the events, I dont think i should register officially through SCCA since i wont be attending every event. newb questions.. sorry

i need a full 3" with a good sounding resonator and muffler. Im trying to keep it as quite as i possibly can (i know that an understatement with 3" exhausts). Looking for a nice mellow tone while under daily driving coniditons. I should be putting out 350 whp with my set-up so i have to ditch my current 2.5". let me know what you can do brother and how much im looking at. AJ, Ive been riding on a stage 3 pulley for about a year now, I just got the misfire before i got the new blower. Im also thinking it might be a tune problem. My tb might be clogged with junk again, not allowing it to close all the way. -
id like to get in on this. i know i can keep up with some serious hp cars, but im more looking to get out, meet some cool people and get the experience. This is open for people to get in and see what they can do right? I like to get my times of course, but i wouldnt want to be counted for any point system. whats the word on the cr auto cross days, where its all for fun?

whats the official date on this? sorry i didnt read throughout the 4 pages

Header/DP Install Hook-up? +Misfire question

sorry it took me forever to get back on here. Bust week with finals coming up and everything. I installed an oil catch can around the pvc to help with the carbon build up coming through, after a week it alread has some oil sitting in there. I just did a charger swap, i think im getting leaks somewhere. Ive also been told that my plugs are being blown out, im going to try and make the gap even smaller. theres set at .039 right now, ill try a .035. i was looking good for about a week, and now im throwing another code, Ill go to autozone and see what they say what it is tomorrow. thanks for the feedback, i thought i posted this is the correct thread, sorry about that fellas im gonna post another thread about needing a custom exhaust made, any advice/recommendations would be awesome -
If I can get my car tuned up in time ill try to get on this again. hopefully i can beat my lame 13.7 as i saw last spring. finally maned up and got some radials as well

what a joke, get out and do something good for the city. I have 15% all the way around from all the car break-ins at Olentangy Commons. Im sure if i havent had my tint, my car would of been broken into already with them seeing everything i had to offer inside

65 bucks or something for 3 pulls?

Mechanically I can do all the work myself. But getting to header that bolted in between the firewall and the engine block is pretty hard to reach when you dont have a car lift. Trying to see if anyone knows someone at a garage to let me get on the lift. Shouldnt take long to undo a couple bolts and fit the new set-up in. Any feedback? let me know brothers Lately im getting a daily misfire issue going on. Even on cruise on the highway going 65, my engine feels ike it hits a brick wall randomly for a second. My injectors are brand new as of last summer and theyre properly installed. I thought it was my plugs not at the correct gap, so i changed them out and im still getting it. Ive rechecked my coils too, all the writing and connection look brand new. My supercharger inlet pressure sensor keeps blowing a code too along with the misfire cel, stating something about the measured pressure doesnt match the actual pressure or something. After looking for a bad seal between the TB and the supercharger, i found this black carbon soot junk all over the inside of the tb and into the charger. I know its coming from the intake pressure line, how can i get rid of that? they sell some kind of oil filter for that? is that giving me the misfire? I cleaned out all the black crap that I could reach this past weekend, I havent driven much since though, so I dont have an update on that

theres going to be gm meet at hoover park on may 2nd at 2pm, did cops give you guys any crap?
-
I have a new set-up that should throw down about 350whp, not bad for a little non turbo'd 4cyl. I hope I can have it all tuned out so I could make this. Im assuming theres going to be a group discount? I dont even know where to go to get a dyno in cbus
-
I took a year off the site while i got my shit together with school and away from the car. I just put in the new harrop supercharger for the LSJ, should see some impressive numbers on the track, I'd be the first to sign up for an autox
-
thanks, my guitar is now there, 40 bucks to get a set-up
-
my D string is buzzing when i hit it, the buzzing seems like its coming from inside the guitar. this is a 2006 taylor 614ce, it is in flawless condition, it just randomly starting doing this. anyone know where i can take this to get it checked out? (besides guitar center) i dont think the buzzing is the string vibrating against the fret board, my neck is fine and the bridge is fine. i got this new in march

see evryone at qs in the morning, my car got all fucked up on its tuning and for about a half an hour we couldnt even get it to start. hope im not like late like everything else in my life
