  1. I am selling a new, never used still in the original box JL Audio 12w7 subwoofer and i have a good used JL Audio 500/1 mono amp i was going to use to drive the sub. The sub is still in the plastic bag and mounted to wood by JL inside the box. Crutchfield sells this sub for $839.99 which i will sell seperate for $400.00 obo and the amp new sold for $599.00 which it is used but seperate i will sell for $200.00 obo but i will only sell amp seperate after sub is sold because i dont was to get stuck with the sub and no amp to push it. Or you can buy both JL Audio sub and amp for 500.00 obo. I can email pics to you if needed. Please do not come at me with low ball offers as i know what its worth and i am not selling because i have too just because i want too. Feel free to contact me on my cell at 614-556-2401 and im jimmy
  2. I can assure you $1200.00 is a hell of a deal. Rob knows i was a Snap on dealer for awhile and the top and bottom box was acually $3500.00 new plus i think he is selling the side cab which new was $800.00. But one thing Rob forgot to mention is the fact a Snap on box has a "LIFETIME WARRENTY" regaurdless who bought it new. Everything except the paint is coverd and the Doug Herbert displays as they were a limited edition. So drawer slides, Say spot weld breaks on drawer or even the spot welds on the main supports of the box, even the top box lid shocks are covered. Also say something happens where the box is beyond repair, The box will be replaced the something comparable. That is why Snap on boxes cost what they do. Craftsman boxes are ok but cant hold much weight for a long period of time. And by the way i paid almost $20,000 dollars for my Snap on box alone, But i will never have to buy another box. Hope this helps you out Rob
  3. it does sound as thought the battery is drained low enough that it cant start the car. normaly a battery is really only good for around 5 years depending on how it was maintained thru out its life, such as if battery was drained and recharged mutiple times, large stereos, high loads, or bad alternator and starter. these all can shorten the life of a battery. you say it may be o.e. well then you got little over 6 yrs out of it which is good. you can try to recharge the battery on a slow charge and it may work for awhile but under really cold temps like we've had probably not. understand one thing though, if you jump start the car without charging the battery any. the alternator may charge the battery some but you are putting a large strain on your charging system and the intent of the alternator is not to charge the battery but to maintain the battery voltage. so say your battery voltage was 10 volts and you drove it the alt. only knows it needs to charge battery 10 volts and it knows this thru the voltage regulator inside the alternator in most cars. hope this helped you. and if you have any ?'s fell free to call me 614-556-2401 im jimmy good luck man!
