  1. Noobs don't welcome noobs. You're not even real members' date=' how the fuck do you welcome people to a group you're not a real member of?[/quote']

Alright let me rephrase my statement...

This place is full of ornery douchebags that won't let you have your own opinion unless you have over 500 posts. Obviously since this is the internet common courtesy is a forgotten art as well as common sense. Hopefully you enjoy your stay in this hostile environment until you get flamed off the board. Nice to meet ya even though you'll probably be gone soon anyways.

Does that one work a little better for ya Sir Halcium? :D

  2. My vote would be the Audi S6. It's base is a little bit over the budget ($72k) but it's quick and comfortable. If he doesn't mind giving up a little bit of the comfort factor he could go to the smaller RS4 which comes in at $67k and is a little bit quicker since it's smaller. Both very fun IMO
  3. Here's the pics of the M

  4. well thanks to the awsome weather cook out is cancelled. ill try again some other time. now im going to go drink at craigs house

By the looks of the weather maps this shit is already over half way done. There might still be time to save it.

  5. I just wanted to let everyone know that if you see the Civic on the road it's not me. I just sold her over the weekend and I'm pretty sure that the new owner of her will be trying to race a bit.

Keep your eyes peeled for the scooter and the Charger though :)

  6. I've had a couple issues with my charger that Caldwell had no idea how to fix. They had the car for a couple weeks total and never got it fixed. They also would not give me any kind of break on a rental either.

Call up Crown Chrysler Jeep in Dublin. That's where I took my car after Caldwell literally gave up. They were very helpful and did everything they could to at least keep me satisfied while they were working on it.

  7. Since you've eliminated the RCAs as a possible cause the next thing I would do is eliminate the amp. Do you know anyone who has one sitting around that you could borrow for a day? If so put theirs in and see what happens. It sounds like that is the most likely culprit at the moment. What you described sounds like there is feedback coming out of the RCA inputs on the amp. If that's the case you'll have to send it back because the power supply in it is not regulated right.

The next step would be to try another deck for a day.

If that doesn't work out I have some questions that will help figure it out:

    - What are you hooking the amp up to? The subs I'm guessing

    - Is it a 1, 2 or 4 channel amp?

    - Are you running it normal or bridged?

    - What ohm load are the speakers that you're hooking up to? Single voice coil or dual voice coil?

    - What is the preout voltage from your deck?

  8. Man, that's horrible. I'll keep my eyes out for any Syclones around town. I've lived in C-bus for about 2 years myself and have only seen 2 on the road. They're pretty easy to spot.

On a friendlier note... Welcome to CR. I'm new here myself but it's been nice so far.

  9. The car is just a couple miles north of Nelsonville which puts it about 25-30 miles south of Lancaster. I actually couldn't resist and went back out there last night.

The catch is that it's got a salvage title. I drove it and she runs great. No pull and everything seems to be working fine. The only things wrong with it are that there is an aftermarket steering wheel, the back plastic window needs to be replaced and the traction control doesn't work. :) The guy has got the stock steering wheel but the airbag is blown out of it. Appearance wise there are a couple of panels that don't line up absolutely perfect but it's really hard to tell and one of the rims has chipping clearcoat.

  10. Overpriced and slow, especially that year. I'm guessing they wanted over $25k for it right?

Yes usually they're overpriced but the sign on this one was asking for $15k and it's only got 39k miles. Not too bad considering that Miata's from the same year are almost that and the BMX has got a bit more power. Speed wise even this year isn't too bad. It'll outrun my Charger R/T
