Both are good, imo. I would error on the side of going with litecoin. If you're a set it and forget it kind of person, do 1/3 of your money in each.

There are all sorts of stories about guys having 1000+ coins at $0.30usd and selling for a few bucks a coin later. It's probably better in our situation than theirs.
