  1. Hey Tim, I cant possibly thank you enough again man. Just for the help (Well doing it) and all the pointers. I found the stuff I need to do it again. Main page for my car: https://www.drcolorchip.com/select-product.phpI believe the item you want me to order is the one on the bottom left of the first link. This one? Standard Touch-Up Paint Kit
  2. Ill do the sanding and get it to the point of it being buffed if you want, or I could just bring the car and we could do the whole thing there, but then again I got no clue what your schedule is, and i dont want to be taking up a bunch of time your etc.)
  3. Sounds great, but im going to have to swing by your house to polish it, i only have a 7" and theres no way.
  4. So thats what it looks like after the wetsanding before the compound buffing and polish buffing?
  5. I did 6 layers of touch up paint with the brush (It has clear on the other side with a brush), then i was gonna sand it down smooth and whatnot, then clear, buff etc. I just dont know the correct order..... I mean as in i dont know when to sand, when to wetsand etc. I figured 800 pad to knock it out, 1500 (Not sure if wet or dry) to get it mostly smooth, then remove about 1 inch of tape around it and do that with the 2500 (Wet or Not, im not sure), then buff the crap out of it.
  6. Should i use the 800 sotch pad to level it out, or just the 1500 then 2500. And dry sand or wet sand? EDIT: If i came by your work, will this be a after hours thing or will it cost? Also whens a good time to call and talk to you about this?
  7. Body guys I have some questions, im trying to fix a scratch on the cheap. These are all the stages ive done 1-14 right now. I dug the scratched part out so it was flat, used the color matched pen brush and kept going layer over layer to make sure the paint on that area was higher than the rest of the vehicle, then i was going to scotch pad the high spots, and sand it and stuff, then polish. Main questions.... I have the 800 grit pads, that meguairs stuff (But there one another one at store the guy said might work better, but i already had this), 1500 and 2500 grits. What steps should I do, take, etc, to make this look at good as possible. http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f302/SevereSarz/CamaroScratchStuff/1%20BackShot2_zpsycxif91s.jpg http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f302/SevereSarz/CamaroScratchStuff/2%20OrigScratch_zpsbsnfplyj.jpg http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f302/SevereSarz/CamaroScratchStuff/3%20BackShot3_zpsiliy2fdn.jpg http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f302/SevereSarz/CamaroScratchStuff/4%20BackShot1_zpsfg40eyup.jpg http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f302/SevereSarz/CamaroScratchStuff/5%20DugOutPaint_zpsylqsyfxu.jpg http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f302/SevereSarz/CamaroScratchStuff/6%20Scratch1_zps6oxkmtca.jpg http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f302/SevereSarz/CamaroScratchStuff/7%20c3_zpse5x0geud.jpg http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f302/SevereSarz/CamaroScratchStuff/8%20c4_zpshitliriv.jpg http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f302/SevereSarz/CamaroScratchStuff/9%20c5_zps95sncygb.jpg http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f302/SevereSarz/CamaroScratchStuff/10%20FinalPaint_zpsjvqwqep1.jpg http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f302/SevereSarz/CamaroScratchStuff/11%20FinalPaint_zps8gcdhwac.jpg http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f302/SevereSarz/CamaroScratchStuff/12%20Final%20Paint_zps9xkorsbl.jpg http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f302/SevereSarz/CamaroScratchStuff/13%20Final%20Paint_zps1r8y4wgw.jpg http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f302/SevereSarz/CamaroScratchStuff/14%20SandMats_zpsvhpl4cgh.jpg
  8. I wanted to get these seats for my camaro, because they were good priced, looked good, and are WAY better than factory 4th gen seats. I wanted to use this seat because i like the pattern on it more http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS-Performance-Products/555/70240/10002/-1?parentProductId=#moreDetails and I was curous as to see if these mounts would allow me to put that seat in my Camaro. http://www.jegs.com/i/Scat/942/81000/10002/-1 If not, theres always this (Which is a different seat but the same bracket kit) http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS-Performance-Products/555/702100K/10002/-1?parentProductId=#moreDetails And I dont like that seat near as much, and thats why i was wondering if i got the first seat (The challenger seat), would i be able to use that universal mounting setup to get it to work in my 2000 Camaro? What have you guys done for seats and mind posting any pictures? Im fine with losing power everything, but i NEED to be able to slide it forward/backwords, and adjust the back height. Also I just found summit which looks like the exact seats I want with brackets and everythings, its just a little bit more than i wanted to spend... But i may have to bite the bullet. ( http://www.summitracing.com/parts/cmb-27-0025/overview/year/2000/make/chevrolet/model/camaro ) This page on WS6 store as it has Brackets made by the Companys Seats there selling... Just again... Expensive. ( http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/catalog/index.php?cPath=235_86_725 )
  9. Grabbed Pennzoil Synchromesh for the T56 and Redline 75w90 for the stock 10 bolt. Thanks guys!
  10. Yeah i was reading about that, I read that 98 cars have Auburn rear's with Clutches but 99+'s have Torsen rears that dont have that issue? Id prefer to run Amsoil or RP or Some type of Synthetic Synchromesh if people are running it with no issues.
  11. Im reading in my owners manual for my 2000 Camaro SS that it says to use DEXROX III ATF, but i read online people are using synchromesh, and i read other people are using full synthetic, then i hear people saying some causes them issues while other people are using it... and its all getting confusing on what i should use. Its a stock T56, and im going to be doing the rear end fluid and i was going to use Redline Syn 75w90 Gear Oil. Is that good for a stock 10 bolt? Thanks for all the advice in advance, Shane
  12. As the title says! Trade, maybe some cash involved. Let me know what you got!
  13. First thing that came to my mind, and those didnt sell well new, but got a colt following after.
  14. Yeah Ford has been stepping there game up since the new 5.0's came out. Motor, Interior, All of it has really been stepped up alot. And with the new ones that are supposed to be a LOT better at handling. The GT350 and GT350R as an example, those things are a DAMN good mustang. Never would of thought Ford to really change the mustang up so much lately. Finally making it the car it should be.
