They were booting anybody running below 11.5 without a cage. I've been to a couple track rentals and never heard of them doing that before. Seems like there were a bunch of upset people which sucks because in order to keep running a quick car, you either have to let off or hit the brakes after the 1/8th. I was hoping to get a warning, but never made it that low. Best of the day was 11.76 @ 121. I couldn't pull a decent short time to save my life. My dad's car got the boot too...he ran a 11.47 when they were still dialing in the tune and got a "warning". A couple passes later, he stayed in it and ran a 11.0 and was told not to come back.

I didn't get around to it last night, but I just paid for (2) tickets. I'll be bringing my car and my dad will have his Buick. Question for you Brian - We aren't going to make it until around noon or so...what will we need to do to get registered?

I haven't signed up yet but I will be buying two spots tonight. My dad's buddy is wanting to go but he hasn't called me yet to get the link. I also know of two other people who have mentioned going so I'll let them know as well. I just found out that there was talk of canceling the event or I would have signed up sooner. My apologies.

Thanks for backing me up Russ. I've already been to a Columbus Racing Drag Day and had a good time. I'll pay a little extra for a track rental any time before going to a weekly test and tune. The atmosphere and the amount of track time you get is 10x better. I don't know what the plan is as far as meeting up and going. My dad has to work Thursday night so I'm not sure what time we will roll out from Cambridge. Thanks for the offer to meet up, but don't worry about waiting on us because I'm guessing we probably won't make it until around lunch time. I don't have any pictures of the Buicks...but all I will say is they move pretty good for being a tiny little V6. Hello. I'm migrating over from BuckeyeGoats. I am originally from Cambridge, but am working in Cleveland. I drive a 2005 Pontiac GTO with the APS TT kit. The main reason I am registering is to find out more information about the drag day event coming up this Friday, June 18. I attended a previous one at National Trails and plan on coming to this one. I haven't signed up yet but I am planning on it as well as my dad and a few of his buddies who are into the Turbo Buicks. In the past, I've relied on the other forum to keep me updated but someone said there was talk about canceling if no one signed up so I just wanted to check into it some more.
