    What's it run?

     

    Hp/tq?

     

    Best I've run on was on 93 octane street tune was 11.61 @123 with a 2.05 60ft. At that time it dynoed 600/600. I have not run it since the E85 tune has been put in. The but dyno says its making more power than it did on the 93 octane tune at lower boost.

    Hey guys, I have decided that its time to part ways with my Lightning. Money has gotten tight and this is the best thing to do.

    Now to the truck. 2001 Oxford White SVT Lightning, build #592 with 79,000 miles on the chassis.

     

    Mods

    Built 5.4 L Modular Performance Shortblock w/ approx. 25K on it

    Diamond Racing pistons 8.5 comp ratio

    Oliver billet Rods

    ARP hardware

    High volume oil pump

    Renegade Racing ported 2V heads. 1mm oversized valves

    VT stage 2 turbo cams

    ProTurbo Kit w/ PT76GTSH turbo (polished)

    Modified inlet with BA2800 MAF

    3.5" to 4" downpipe to Magnaflow muffler

    60# Siemon Deka Injectors

    Twin 255 pumps in tank

    Cobra R waterpump

    C&L upper intake

    SB Throttlebody

    Twin 16" electric fans with Spal controller

    3200 Dirtydog converter with billet Cover

    Built Dirtydog Trans w/ 5K on it

    JL 54" long bars

    Hinged Tonneu cover (soft for removal)

    03-04 rims with Goodyear tires

    Aem wideband gauge

    Autometer fuel, boost, and EGT

     

    Has Wet Okles installed (Black with Grey inserts but the passanger side inserts have ripped and begain to come off)

    Truck is currently tuned by me using Deltaforce tuning software on E85. I really don't want to give up my laptop. So the purchase of the software on your part will be required. I can give you all the files that I have for the truck in this software. I do have an X-cal2 that has a turbo tune installed but is for 93 octane fuel.

     

    I'm looking to get $18,000 for the truck, might consider trade and $$$$. Run it by me, what could it hurt. If interested please PM me and I can send some pictures and # to call.

    I've made 700 @ 20 psi....at the same level I would like to see 800 or more. I've been told that this turbo flows around 114 #'s of air compared to the 91#'s my current turbo flows.

    9t1GVR4, I spin my truck to around 6200 RPM. It will rev higher and still not loose power but I'm not real happy spinning a 5.4 long stroke motor that high in the RPM's.

    Guys, I have a chance to trade my current turbo for another unit that is larger. My question is would it be worth the trade? I currently run a PT76GTSH turbo on my lightning. It is a T-4 based turbo with a .96 AR exhaust housing. I run 15# of boost, it dynoed 600/600 at this PSI. This is on a built 5.4 L motor with ported PI heads and turbo cams. The turbo that I can trade for is:

     

    Borg Warner S478 T6 1.10 with the 83mm turbine wheel. It has a 4 inch v band flange welded on the compressor cover and comes with the other flange and clamp. I also bought and will include with the turbo: T6 Flange, 5inch DP Starter/Flange and clamp, oil feed fitting, oil drain fitting and gaskets.

     

    Do you guys think this would be a good swap for my truck? I would like to see more power at the same boost level. I also want to be able to turn up the wick later down the road.

    Rich - Have him shoot me an e-mail: Jason@creditconsultants.com. I am already an American Racing Headers Dealer and can get him a set of headers at just over cost. I have 2 extra sets with high flow cats on order, and they will be here next week. Retail is $1895+shipping, I'll sell him a set for $1600. If he knows what other parts he wants, I'll contact the companies and get them to him for cost.

     

    I also can't say enough about Dyno Brian! I've always enjoyed taking my cars over there for tuning. I know he took my Z06 2 years ago and after the tune, the car gained over 3mph and .5 seconds in the 1/4 mile. He certainly knows his stuff!

     

    If he wants them installed, we can arrange that as well.

     

    That goes for anybody that wants American Racing Headers. Just shoot me a PM/E-mail and I'll get you a price!

    Your truck is sick! When we ran all a saw was this white flash go buy at a high rate of speed...

     

     

    Thanks, I'm still trying to get a handle on the turbo set-up. Its a totally different animal compared to the blower set-up I ran in the past. I only have 3 track outings behind the wheel so far. I have video of some of the runs. I'll see about getting them up.
