Im considering one of these as a new toy I dont need and wont shoot nearly as much as I should. I know a few of you guys have them do you have any suggestions? As far as what I am looking for cheaper the better as far as its not plastic or complete garbage. I don't need some $2000 ar pistol build going thats for sure.
Besides that I'll be shooting paper targets. What do I need to know? Have any recommendations?
Also does anyone have experience with that SIG "Armbrace" (its a stock!).
A lot of good info int his post. It sounds like you are far from ready to defend youself with a gun (And I mean no offense) but if your not fine with ending someones life who could be wanting to end yours. Then a gun is not for you.
Sounds like you need a security system & security lights and or camaras. The combo of the 3 I would think would detour most if not all criminals.
I prefer a handgun for home defense over a shotgun. Much more operable and easy to handle. Whatever you choice if you go the gun way. Make sure you get a QUALITY Flashlight. Streamlight or similar. Don't buy a cheap $15.00 flashlight. You want them to be disoriented when you turn it on.

Having some problems finding them online at all... I was hoping to buy just one replacement, I lost one. Prefer not to go junk yarding if I dont have too. Any help?
Thanks, Jerrod
I sell quite a bit on Ebay and I'll be honest Ebay will ALWAYS side with the buyer 99% of the time. I've been sided against when people have not even read the listing as far as description. So just be prepared... it is a possibility should they complain about anything.
I had it actually at one time. Its about as bright as a $1.00 flashlight from the dollar store. Why yes it is still a flashlight the streamlight pretty much goes unmatched. Look for one used on armslist. I found one for $30 after a bit of searching and waiting. Works perfectly. The strobe feature is excellent.
Thanks for the replies. I'll have to check out the entertainment Junction i've seen that place before. So far I've been looking at HO (seems to be the most common and somewhat affordable). I do like the N-scale as well. I'm really looking at just seeing what I can get my hands on at first and tinkering with it. Going to plan on displaying them first and foremost and as things progress I'll look into building a layout. Thanks
I'm looking to get into this hobby a bit but know that this stuff can be expensive. I know its a long shot but if anyone has stuff that they are willing to get rid of and are not expecting full blown retail value from it let me know. I don't want to be shelling out hundreds into thousands then lose interest in it. :dumb:
