  1. Gimme a shout if you want to hit the COD sometime. You will however have to guess my gamertag to gain access to the pwnage lessons.

    Android peeps!

Damn Chris, you're such a nerd. Why don't you and your android phone and your English dictionary get a room!
  3. Do us a favor and post a review. I'm really curious how the tolerances and everything compare, because I haven't seen a good number of these built yet. I'll grab a couple if you say they're gtg. Also, how is machined from billet different than machined from a forging? Isn't the billet forged, or is it something else?

    Tacticool Gear

Good work there. Recommend less white, swat ninjas wear black only. Also, tactikewl is a far more deadly spelling.

    Audi R4

That was me. Had to take it out one more time before winter. I'll be driving the R8 through the bad months, because it has more Le Mans wins.

    Audi R4

too much photoshop going on. Headlights are crap. R8 headlights, nice Audi motors, and I'm all over it.
  8. Yeah, they're actually terrible cars that nobody should buy, except for me and a few select other Audi nuts. That level of automotive pleasure is not for the masses. And they get pretty good mileage for what they are.
  9. Typical problems arise with having too much traction, being completely spoiled by the perfect interior, and boost building too fast. All cars have maintenance, get used to it. Aside from being able to get good power for cheap, go faster than the power would suggest, and have acceleration in the rain/snow... That's it.
  10. wtf? Wow, is the value on those going to go up or what? If HK would get off their lazy ass and make a cheap .22 we wouldn't have this problem.
  11. Yeah it's going to be a PITA. You'll probably break half the pieces getting them off, and have to super glue the whole thing back together. I hope you got some picks and shit for that.
  12. Carbon cloth + Cindy = good times. Be there!
  13. Damnit Chris, I keep telling you they castrated the poor thing for COD. One way or another you're shooting mine this weekend. Damn call of duty!

    CCW question

And you probably wouldn't be disgusted if your boyfriend told you he was carrying now would you? You can vote however you want, but if you're coming out as a hypocrite, I'm going to call you on it. Back on topic!

    CCW question

or you could stop hanging around ignorant ass liberal floozies that can't possibly see a legitimate use for a firearm. You just need to find a girl who understands that shit happens, and if you're not prepared it will happen to you. Sounds like they're not mature enough to understand is what I'm saying.
  16. Exactly. Can you get a new front suspension for a 911 for $306? I think not. You'd have to be a moron to pay $1800 for that.

    Ruger P95?

The P95 is a fine pistol. I have carried one for about a year and a half, goes right inside the waistband nicely. Hell I've carried a P91 which is far chunkier for 4 years now. I got mine off a fellow board member in like new shape for $250, with a case and a few mags. $290 seems pretty solid new, but you may be able to find one slightly used for a bit cheaper. Definately get yourself to the range, put a case through it and get some instruction maybe. I've found the P95's to be soft shooting, accurate enough, and extremely reliable. The trigger pull kinda sucks, and the safety is a push -up-to-fire, which is counterintuitive. If you're coming from a 1911 family you need to retrain before you get caught with that one. Still, great pistol for under $300 though.
  18. If that's true I'm buying a Porsche. Seriously. Are we talking similar year here? I can get a 2001 911 control arm for cheaper than a 2001 S4 control arm? Don't bullshit me.
  19. Hey, me too! Seriously, I'd take the 2.7tt over an LT1. Don't knock it until you've tried it. It looks terrible, but no steering gear to take off, exhaust is easy, don't have to jack the car way up in the air... It's much easier than it looks, I promise. Fishey, you must be spoiled because you haven't lived until you've beaten ball joints and bushings out of GM A-arms with a hammer and railroad tie. BTDT.
  20. For what it's worth, a very good friend bought an 06...(?) 2.5 impreza brand new and has driven it cross-country at least twice, and put about 60k miles on it with no trouble whatsoever. As odd as it may sound, it drives EXACTLY like an old Audi 4000 with a bit more grunt. Seriously.
  21. I've maintained 2 of these personally from when they were brand new until the owners moved away, with 100k and 85k miles. What zeitgeist said is dead on. They are perfect until around 80-100k miles, then it's time for some work. Not really any worse than most other foreign cars, but if maintained well they will last another 100k miles. You're going to have to get over $1000-$2000 in service, then it will be trouble free again for awhile. I wouldn't buy a 1.8t unless the owner could PROVE they've used synthetic with a good proper filter since new. The v6 will take much more neglect.
  22. Damn Fishey, you wouldn't think you liked working on cars or something. Been there done that. Not too bad, really. I've pulled many motors on many things, and I would take a 2.7TT pull over an LT1 pull any day of the week. Maybe not over a 2nd gen or truck motor pull, but a 4th gen F-Body is a PITA. Special tools? You can rent them easily and cheaply. Maintenance? come on. I could knock out all the control arms on an S4 in the time I would still be screwing around with the ball joints on one side of a GM suspension. Plus, the finely engineered Audi front suspension gives awesome steering feel and precision, good articulation, maintains camber and caster through travel, and is strong. I have personally driven a B5 A4 over two curbs, down into a drainage ditch, and right over a manhole cover with NO damage to wheels, suspension, etc. at 35 MPH! Hurt a tire though. And how much does it cost to get your Porsche to 600hp? Yeah, that's what I thought. Now are you going to start shit about parts costs? hahaha.
  23. That I know. FedEx service has been outstanding, and our service on our other UPS accounts has not been so good. I'm wondering if the better rates are going to be enough to offset the drop in service. We have a good relationship with FedEx, and I will be sad to see them go. I'll go meet with them now. Thanks.
  24. They're giving us better rates than FedEx smartpost, and I was wondering if you guys had any opinions/experience. I'm pretty happy with FedEx, their support and service is top notch. Not so sure about UPS.
