  1. My uncle has a 2005 and his was a a fuel pressure release valve. He thinks it was on the passenger side fuel rail. Looks like a bolt. He said that there are a couple of cheaper performance bolts. He took his out and welded the pin hole shut.

He also said that the new valve is was $300 and the performance race valves are solid (no spring/pin hole)

I just shimmed the said valve and changed the fuel filter, cleared the codes and it is hauling ass as of right now. Thank you guys for your quick help and responses. :megusta:

  2. Everyone always thinks they can get a good deal at the sale. That's why you buy green light.

I am a dealer so that is part of the game. Everything I buy is risky even if it has a green light on it.

I am going to shim the fprv and change the fuel filter. Can Columbus diesel rebuild the injection pump and maybe clean and check fuel flow on the injectors?

  3. I purchased an 01 Chevy 2500 today and already having problems with it. It wont rev past 2000 rpm, but it does rev fine at idle. I don't smell any diesel in the oil and it purrs like a kitten at idle all the way up to 2000 rpm. These are the codes that I am getting:

P0087 Fuel Pressure Too Low at rail

    P0089 Fuel Pressure Regulator Performance

    P0093 Fuel System Leak

P0118 Engine Coolant Temperature (high voltage)

    Can anyone help me?

  4. Unfortunately, it is not the twin scroll. You can purchase a twin scroll housing for about $150 or so. I loved the 6262 on my Audi 90, and if this doesn't sell within a reasonable time, I will most likely end up putting it on my S4. Here is a video of what the 6262 sounded like in my Audi 90.
  5. Brand new still in the box. I am going to change routes for my S4 and no longer need this. Paid close to $1500 shipped and is still in original packaging.

Precision Turbo & Engine was the first to develop a complete, innovate line of turbochargers featuring the highly successful CNC-machined Competition Engineered Aerodynamics (CEA) 2618 forged aluminum compressor wheels which are specifically designed for maximum performance.

Although other are already copying Precision Turbo & Engine's designs and calling it their own, you can trust that Precision is already planning for your future needs and will always keep you well ahead of the competition.

Advanctages of PTE's CEA Compressor Wheels:

    Greater efficiency

Faster transient response (less turbo lag)

Capable of handling higher boost pressures

Weigh less than similarly sized traditional cast wheels

Result in lower temperatures than conventional wheels

Pics coming tomorrow. $1100 + paypal and shipping fees OBO. Call or text 440-623-1460 if you have any questions. Thank you for looking.

  6. I loled when I read this thread. Who cares about what you own or don't own, what you do or don't do? Starting this thread will not make anyone who doubted you or loled at you, rethink their decisions. This thread = Phil

    I meant Phail

  7. Here is a look at the guy that will be building my manifold setup if I do decide to go the single turbo route. http://forums.quattroworld.com/s4/msgs/117908.phtml I have already ordered a Precision dual ball bearing 6265 (which can be resold if I need to). Other than maybe spool, I don't see why the twin turbo setup has more advantages than a single turbo. I really hate crowded engine bays, and would love how much one turbo (especially the PTE that doesn't require coolant lines) simplifies everything.
  8. Yes I understand how you guys feel about the already existing twin turbo kits. I would definitely not go with anything less than the Tial 770Rs, however the turbos alone cost $4600 which uses stock exhaust manifolds. Inlet pipes are $600, downpipes are $1000. This still doesn't take into consideration the intercooler setup which will be another $1200, RS4 Y pipe etc etc which would add up close to $8000. I already have a dual ball bearing Precision 6265 turbocharger which I bought for $900 brand new, exhaust manifolds and downpipe $2000, intercooler setup with piping $700, wastegate and blow off valve (s) $600. So that is basically $4200, and I can change the turbo to meet whatever hp goal I desire and I get a beautiful engine bay with something that you do not see everyday.
