Well they make hardtops into convertibles, so you probably could...but i believe you anwsered your own question..plus doesn't a convertible weigh more than a hardtop? more frame rails...?

LOL...That is one of the first signs....but when you start getting up at 0500-0600 without an alarm clock everyday, oldness has set in.(I know)..I should be able to make it again for some good coffee and good times...
