With the new Coyote engine, Focus, and now this Ford has really stepped up their game as far as delivering fast and fun cars. Stephen Hawking was on Larry King Live last week along with the co-author of his new book, a catholic priest (I forget the name atm), and Deepak Chopra (sp?). They had a very interesting discussion on religion and science as it relates to Hawking's new book. Your exercise reminded me of it.

Of course you don't agree with it. Every religion is going to disagree, it is natural. As for the last part, a priest isn't like a middle man between you and God. God can hear and understand our prayers, but a priest can help us to understand them better, and give us new insight on the word of God and how it can pertain to us. Protestant preachers give advice on how to pray just like catholic priests.

Everybody should find their own truth when it comes to religion and their personal relationship with God, as well as a church that works for them. I can definitely respect that people have other beliefs, after all, if you guys agreed with the Catholic church, you would be Catholic, lol.

And just to give myself as an example, I go to mass at least 2-3 times per week and don't pray to any saints, etc...when I am doing my personal prayers.

This is a common misconception of the Catholic church. I am a practicing Catholic, and here is what is the view of the Catholic church. When you have a problem, illness, etc... and you pray to the virgin mary, a saint, etc...you are not praying to that saint or person to solve your problem for you or to worship that person. What you are doing is asking that saint, virgin mary, etc... to pray for you to God. An example I can give is the confession prayer: I confess to you almighty God, and to you, my brothers and sisters, that I have sinned through my own fault, in my thoughts and in my words, in what I have done and what I have failed to do, and I ask the blessed Mary, ever virgin, all the angels and saints, and you, my brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the lord our God. This is not meant to circumvent your prayers to God, just to ask others to pray for you. Obviously I'm not here to debate the right or wrong of religion/Catholicism, I just wanted to make sure to bring some clarity as to the actual views of the church.

You can definitely get a huge ass burrito at Freebirds, but it is essentially the same as Chipotle, just bigger imo. I'd try Chuy's or Texadelphia for sure for something different.

I have been to Austin probably a hundred times. As long as you are in town I would go to Chuy's for Tex-Mex, it is among the best food in Texas and is easy on the wallet. 1728 barton springs road Also, if you are around campus/capital area Texadelphia is great too. I would skip Freebirds just because it's almost exactly like Chipotle which you can get anywhere.

Try this: 1. Buy a container of liquid nitrogen, 4 liters of Sprite, 2 ounces of vanilla extract, and 2 copies of People magazine (must be the most current issues due to freshness). 2. Set up the liquid nitrogen near your stove in the kitchen for easy access. 3. In the largest pot you have combine the 4 liters of Sprite, 2 ounces of vanilla extract, and the 2 copies of People magazine and bring to a boil stirring occasionally. 4. Drop the broken memory sticks in the pot and boil for exactly 3 minutes and 24 seconds (the combination of lemon/lime and vanilla will refresh the memory sticks, while the People magazine will help them catch up to current events that have occurred since they were left in the basement). 5. Quickly remove the sticks from the pot and drop directly into the liquid nitrogen container. Remove from the container after 1 minute 14 seconds. (The sticks need to be cooled very quickly after leaving the boiling container due to all of the "hotness" in the People magazine). 6. Plug them in and you are good to go! Good lord I am bored.
