    The Mid-Ohio School is pleased to announce a new way to get on the track! Beginning April 24, 2009, we are opening Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course to the public for Open Track Time during the Open Test and Tune Twilight event.

     

     

     

    Whether you have taken our Advanced Defensive Driving Program, Acura High Performance Course or Acura Advanced High Performance Course, or you have never been on track before, bring your own car and participate in our Open Track Time “Lead/Follow Lapping” with The Mid-Ohio School instructors.

     

     

     

    If you have taken our Lapping Program, bring your car and drive in our Open Track Time “Open Lapping”.

     

     

     

    These programs are a great, cost-effective way for you to get out on track in your vehicle and experience the thrill of the world-renowned Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

     

     

     

    You are guaranteed three, 20-minute sessions during Open Track Time participating in either our “Lead/Follow Lapping” with The Mid-Ohio School instructors or the “Open Lapping” for only $195. This program runs from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Friday, April 24, 2009. More dates for 2009 will be announced soon on select Open Test and Tune Twilight dates.

     

     

     

    To enroll in Open Track Time, please visit our website at http://www.midohioschool.com. Click the ENROLL NOW button and then select Open Testing & Tuning. Pick the April 24, 2009 “Lead/Follow Lapping” Session or the “Open Lapping” Session. You may also call us at 1-877-793-8667 to enroll in either of these great, new programs.

     

     

     

    If you are a licensed racing competitor or Car Club competitor you would still enroll in our tradition Open Testing & Tuning event.

    so, did I read that if you are a Licensed Racer you can only run the 'normal test & tune lapping' weekends? I'm confused? What if I don't bring my 'racecar' but yet a street car...

    interesting....almost like a Funday format it sounds like, except with the lead/follow stuff. Curious as to how they'll do groups and what the restrictions are. It's certainly closer than Nelson and everybody loves running at Mid-Ohio.

     

    Color me a bit skeptical at this point though....you going Rob?

    look they do work great, but they break..and easy. ask the guys running 10's with them, if its stock or not. lots of them are not! and if it is stock, ask them how many they have broke!. it dont matter. you know i can drive and shift. They break with stock 5.0's.

     

    true true...my car was stock, and had synchro probs within a year. it just went downhill from there. And anyone that knows me, knows I granny shift like crazy... I had plenty of friends that blew there's up too and its just something that happens. T5's suck.

    zach was talking about the girl i was with, we've been talking for awhile but only dated for 1 month now, and she's saying "I love you" :eek:

     

    :gtfo: seriously? I mean come on. You can get head on the first date, get laid on the second..but saying 'I love you' after a month of dating..that's just crazy!

    After i finish up some maintenance on the Mustang i want to get the t5 rebuilt. Anybody know a place or person that can do the t5 tranny for a good price? Needs to be somewhat close by.

    Personal experience would be to save your $ and buy something better, I.E. Tremec TKO...I got sick of murdering T5's. Just a thought.

    well put. I mean, I started my thread on being a newbie and within 5 posts I'm being asked to post pics,..but yet as soon as you do, someone's gotta hate on you? Seriously? OK. Its simple, being a girl = screwed if you do, screwed if you don't. :rolleyes: I poseted pics so now I'm a tease, but had I not...I'd get constant requests for pics until the point of it becoming annoying..oh well.

    Yay for being a tease, that's super awesome. Please, please post up more pictures of yourself in a bra! It's making me harder than a frozen hot dog right now.:rolleyes:

     

    Did you have self esteem problems as a kid, or something? I'm not really sure what makes someone workout in a bra and then post it on a forum with no idea who will see it. Were you a webcam girl? Did someone touch you too much? Did someone not touch you enough? I really don't know what's going on here.

     

    I'm sure all your leghumpers will back you up here but, I don't care.

     

    It's now been too long since I've seen a picture of you, my hot dog thawed...

    Hi Kelley!

    I've known your dad for may years. I actually had him as a "student" at an autocross drivers school at Powell Speedway in the green Porsche (yes I am that old). If I recall he had you to a couple of autocrosses a few (2-3) years ago. Welcome aboard!

     

    yeah, I haven't been out to an OVR event or a SOLO in awhile...as in since '04. I went to Nationals that year too in the EVO but I haven't done anything since then... :)

    You autocross the civic ever, or is it a track car only?

     

    It wouldn't do well at an auto-x...springs are way to stiff, the valving on my shocks is insane...and the brake pads would never get hot therefor stopping may be a problem...not to mention the r-compond tires never even getting the chance to get heat in them by running a whopping 60 second lap.... and did I mention I don't have to shift until 10.5k? I could run the whole course in 1st. :(

    I'v been a member for a while, but don't have many posts so I don't know if I'm allowed to say this, but Welcome!

     

    Kelly and Drew, I haven't seen you guys for a while, it's Russell from AutoZone, I used to come hang at the old shop at Rt 3 and 161. It's cool to see you guys are still together!

     

    Hey Russel! Man I haven't seen you since I used to roll my 'Notch around!!! OMG that was back in the day..what? '06? Do you remember my Subie? License plate the said 4WDRFT? I did your Legacy...I been toying with the idea of getting another... we all need to get together sometime!
