I based my price on ebay. I'll stick with what its at, someone can offer lower...that's why I threw in the obo. Say perhaps if they'd like to pick it up and save me the hassle, could save them some money. Thanks for the advice though.

Im not selling my car but i'd look for an early 90's ford escort. I have the lx hatch and it has lots of space, isn't too bad in the winter with good tires and I get 26-32mpg depending on where im going. I paid 1000 for my car and it was in perfect working shape. They're easily the best beater IMO with everything in consideration. -
As the title says I have an Apexi SAFC 2. Don't have box and don't have a manual because it came with the 240 when I bought it. My car doesn't need it and some cash sounds pretty nice right now. I can post pics but if you know what it is you can imagine the grey one with blue face. Has some dried glue on the back. $200obo PM or email at zixxer636@yahoo.com

I would guess a Class 3 since it say's you can load up to 500lbs on it...but it doesn't say on the website what it is so im not sure. -
I have one I got off of 4wheel parts.com It was $112 and shipping and I have the bike rack attachment that was like $25. I used it once to move my bikes up north but it doesn't fit the bumper I bought for the jeep so I will have to get a different one. How about $100? Here's the link to the one I have. http://www.4wheelparts.com/Towing-To...3873&t_pl=8817

Forgot to take pics before I took manifolds off. Got it off on day 3 with about 3-4 hours total work time involved. Just too freakin hot down here to work any longer then maybe an hour a day. Here are some pics of the damage... I broke only one, excuse to buy a torch http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l101/zixxer636/Escort027-1.jpg Nothing crazy going on in here http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l101/zixxer636/Escort020.jpg Also doesn't look bad http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l101/zixxer636/Escort022.jpg Oh, here's the problem..... http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l101/zixxer636/CorrodedWaterjacket.jpg Same spot but on the manifold http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l101/zixxer636/Corrodedintake.jpg Cleaned up http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l101/zixxer636/Escort021.jpg No head for me... http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l101/zixxer636/Escort023.jpg Only other issues I had were 1 broken thermostat housing bolt, and 1 that felt like it wanted to break. So 2 new bolts from ACE hardware will fix that. A stripped downpipe stud, going to try to clean the threads up...but i dunno if it can be saved. And the bolt I snapped...going to have to try and score 2 of those(one was missing?) -
There's a lot of people swapping the axles out of a 95 ford explorer. I dont remember all the details on that but I think the ratio is better then stock. That was a common swap though that a bunch of guys were doing. Read about it on Jeepforum.com, Im sure you'll be able to find more info on it there.

i have 265/75/16 tires and my 3 speed auto does fine on the freeway. As long as i get it to downshift to 2nd and make sure it's high enough in the rpm in 3rd. Its a dog from about 50-70 bc it doesn't downshift. Its 70mph down here, i usually go about 70-75 bc I have the top up w/ everything off so i get blown all over the road. Maybe im just used to slow cars since my other one is an escort...i'd love a 5spd

Eh, gaskets not very expensive, haven't priced everything out. Used junkyard engine(that might need headgasket)is a couple hundred. This gives me an excuse to buy more tools and teach her more. Plus the bottom end should be solid...might burn a little oil when im done but that's fine. I've gotten about 40k miles out of this car in 4 years and I bought it for $1000 and have maybe another $1500 in parts over that time. Seems fair to me, 4 years of transportation for $2500 and it gets over 30mpg. Smarter then a "smart" car financially. -

Also, Keep in mind everyone, she's doing the work. I might loosen a bolt here and there but the bulk of the work is being done by the wife. I just provide the direction -

that's an old pic...but hilarious. Update, pics soon to come. Got the nator off in about 20 minutes without breaking anything, tensioner, timing cover was a beyotch but came out, and is set to TDC. Called it quits since my dumbass forgot to pick up the fuel line tool at parts store...Head is coming off tomorrow...after the beach! hahaha pics tomorrow too, i should be redder and so should my ginger wife. -

Eh, luckily its probably the easiest head gasket ever. Right side is cake, thats what we did. Left side when we pull the nator and timing belt today are whats going to suck. At least its not like a quad 4 and timing cover has 20 tiny bolts and nuts. We really probably only got a good solid hour of work done yesterday between setting garage up and me explaining the parts she's taking off. Got blessed with another cloudy day today so its cool enough to work in a garage. We should have the head off today though so I can go to the beach tomorrow. w00t -
Yeah, i'd have to agree w/ everyone else then. Time for new gears...or move back to columbus.

lol, yeah i know. We can only work on it for about 2-3 hours at a time bc its so Fing hot down here. I figure 2 days off, 2 days back on. Bc I dont have to explain as much while she's putting it back together -
So, I started the project this morning of replacing headgasket while teaching the wife some new things. Going smooth so far. The coolant is drained, fan removed, intake is off, downpipe disconnected, skid plates and battery taken out, alt belt removed and disconnected EGR tube. All I did was take out one downpipe bolt and the battery, and point my finger. Sunday's lesson will be on timing, removing belt, removing alternator and mount and then cylinder head. Here's some pics of project: The Crew: http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l101/zixxer636/Theteam.jpg Engine Before: http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l101/zixxer636/June262009144.jpg Scratching my crotch crickets http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l101/zixxer636/June262009145.jpg Coolant draining http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l101/zixxer636/June262009147.jpg Knuckle smashing imminent http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l101/zixxer636/Joshatwork.jpg Refreshing Kroger OJ http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l101/zixxer636/Coolantjuice.jpg Intake off http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l101/zixxer636/Chelsatwork.jpg She made a scary face because the egr tube looked like a snake.... http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l101/zixxer636/ChelsEGR.jpg Engine after: http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l101/zixxer636/Engineafter.jpg This is me cooling down afterwards http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l101/zixxer636/Thecooldown.jpg
