Thanks for all the welcome messages! Glad to finally join the group! To answer the question about taking the Lincoln to the track... Yes. I've ran in a few times at National Trails. It's still very slow, because I need to put in a mass air sensor and get it tuned - it's not making nearly the power it's capable of. It ran an 18.43, but I'm most proud of my reaction time, which was .106, not bad for only my third time down the strip. On a side note, I ran in the same lane as my friend, and she told me that once I started down the lane, even though she was at the end, her whole car was vibrating! That's what I get for a 3" single exhaust that ends at the muffler I guess! I want to race the econobox someday - would the other Fit owner be interested in a match-up sometime?

The Lincoln weighs 4050 lbs stock, so pretty much a lead sled. lol.

Hey everybody! The name is Stacey. I live over on the east side of Columbus. Moved here a little over two years ago. I used to work as a manufacturing engineer, but am now a full-time MBA student at OSU. I've owned a 1987 Lincoln Towncar since 2003. I've done a bunch of body repair, repainted it in 2004. My buddy Scott sold me an excellent 302 w/Gt40p heads and 1.7 roller rockers, which was installed this past winter. I put in a E-cam, BBK headers, and a 3" very low restriction single exhaust. Soon on the list is a MAF convertion and 4:10 gears with a posi unit. It's my fun toy. I've also got a 2008 Honda Fit Sport - the econobox that gets 3x the mileage of the TC! I joined CR after getting bugged by Scott & Mike for months! I'm looking to meet some fun new people who like to talk cars and hang out and a have a good time! I'll include some photos once I'm able!
