I have the rallyarmours on my WRX, should have put them on before my paint was shot... They do defiantly keep the salt down though.

it may just be the encoder motor sensor. i have replaced alot of those. to be sure though you need to have it scaned and the codes pulled.
This happened to my moms 2005 suburban, had the exact same symptoms.

That doesn't seem like a bad price, but doing it yourself is really easy. We did it to my parents attic a few years back, literally just keep feeding the machine and point the hose where you want it to go. I cant imagine walls being that much harder to do.

Are you doing hardwood/tile through out or are you replacing it with more carpet?

Thanks everyone! You all seem like quite a friendly bunch.
And I plan on taking my car to Thorne this spring, I have another couple mods coming for around then and dont want to waste money on a protune, so I'll run my map for a bit, then in a few months go pro-tune.

I have a Blitz SUS intake for that car that I will let go for cheaaaaap.
For the 2009? Hit me up with a price. I'll atleast consider it.
Do you rally/ off-road the wrx?I have been known to have some back-road-fun in it. Hence the mudflaps [the paint sucks though and is still all chipped up...] and I have 4 rally-lights on a custom made bar that I run during the winter/when I feel like it. I want to try rally-x this summer.

that motor will blow up when you go stage 2. Dont say i didnt tell you.
Sti's are the only ones I believe that had the cracking piston issue. And My build date is after the 8/08 period in which they had the bad rod bearings. But thanks for voicing your concern.
Also, if it does blow up I'll just swap the stock downpipe back on and swap back to the stock map and take it in to get it fixed.

Hey all, Im new to the site, Just stopping in to introduce myself.
I'll start out with some car history. My last car was a 2007 VW GTI, DSG, 4-Door that was all blacked out. It had a Auto-Tech catback and that was it for mods. It was a fun car but it ate way to many sets of tires. Last june I rear-ended a chevy 2500 HD truck with it and it ended up totaled.

My next car which I bought was a 2009 Subaru WRX 5-Door hatch, in Dark Gray Metallic. Its what I currently drive now. All the mods on it now are RallyArmour mud flaps, and some rally lights. This weekend I am putting on a catless invidia 3" downpipe and reflashing it to stage 2 with a Torqued Performance map.

This spring I plan on a set of 18" rims with RE-11's, coilovers, sways and endlinks, a new TMIC, Catback, intake, and a protune. Oh and some whiteline rear dif inserts.
Well thats about it!
