I carry almost everywhere that I legally can. As mentioned before if I know I'm going to be drinking I leave it at home. From what I've heard most cops don't care as long as you tell them if you're ever pulled over. My wife did have a cop on campus treat her like a criminal when she was pulled over for going like 5mph over. The car is in my name btw, so when he ran the plates...

I would recommend that you go to a range that rents guns and shoot a few you are interested in. For instance I shot a berretta storm that had the shittiest first trigger pull ever. I personally like Glock but many don't because of the built in trigger safety instead of a traditional safety.

I took mine at Blackwing Shooting Center. Great place, friendly instructors. If you do it in one day bring a lunch.

I had a wreckless op in 1994 and it was four points. My insurance went through the roof and I had a hard time finding a company that would insure me. I would take these guys advice and hire a lawyer to get it reduced.
