My friend just went from a stg2 sti to a G8 gt. He loves the added comfort of the G8 and says it doesn't attract as much attention either. Only downside he said was you can't buy a standard, only automatic.

I like the styling a lot, but for the price range you listed, you should check out the newest bodystyle bmw 335i's. You should be able to pick them up for around 22-24 with decent miles, standard or autotragic, good power and usable space!

But for my opinion, Im obviously going with the speed3....since it's just going to be a daily. More usable space inside than an lgt, looks better (imo), I feel like the interior is a lot better in the ms3 too, handles the same if not better, is quicker, crises real well and I really like the gearing...more than enough power in every gear so there is no need to really ever downshift to pass, etc. It has an incredible power band. Mines been incredibly reliable minus my 2nd gear going out. But I'm replacing the entire tranny so that isn't a prob. I average around 20-21 city and 30+ interstate. Also, my stock MS3 pulls about a car on a friends bolted (stg2) lgt
