    Gotta love unions!

    What is so strange is that I purchased 2 boxes of twinkies (including the chocolate filled ones) yesterday morning! then I realize had collector items and proceeded to eat 3 this morning:)

    I don't know if anyone needs interior or headliners done. They did the headliner (and t-top shades, sail panels and visors) in my GTA and I have to tell you the job they did was amazing! I cannot recommend them enough!

    They treated my car well (no extra miles) and were less then their competitors. If you use them tell them the black GTA guy sent ya. Nothing in it for me but in case I want to have any other work done maybe they will even do better:)

    Anyone else here use them?

    Romney's proposal to zero-out federal spending for public broadcasting will have little to no effect on Sesame Street's budget because the show receives "very, very little funding" from PBS, Sesame Street's executive vice president Sherrie Westin told CNN last week. Westin said the majority of the show's funding comes from corporate sponsorships, product sales and donations.

     

    "Quite frankly, you can debate whether or not there should be funding of public broadcasting. But when they always try to tout out Big Bird, and say we're going to kill Big Bird - that is actually misleading, because Sesame Street will be here," Westin said. "Big Bird lives on."

    I used to work at a chevy dealer when I was in college and they had a place in the back of the dealership people would use for burnouts with vetts and stuff... this was early 90s. I never did it but I knew they did at night after work.. kinda dumb since people living around could hear.

     

    But after a guy purchased a car I never knew them to do that. thats why I always want the one with the lowest miles when I buy new:) off the truck? I watch them prep it. I did that with my 86 TA... factory ordered.

     

    These idiots should be sued.

    The idea of voting on whether or not a business opens is thoroughly repugnant. Though good for you, sticking to your guns. I'm not being sarcastic.

     

    I agree if that were the case.. but actually it was a vote on a Ohio constitutional amendment which I find changing for gambling as repugnant. Civil rights.. fine.. but gambling.. nah.

    My mom collapsed on a casino floor laster year and died shortly after. she had blown through about 50,000 cash in 3 months. she moved to NV for the last 7 months of her life to enjoy her passion. I will never step foot in that place of sin. Those who steal from sick old people. ruin marriages, encourage people to lose it all and commit suicide. no thanks.

    So since the TARP was passed by GW, why did the GOP not pursue their free market principals back then?

     

    Because Bush is a statist and not a pure conservative. He also buckeled under pressure from bernanke and obama team who was a fixin to get in soon.

    Keep in mind I think some regulation can be good.. some bad.. but you dont fiddle with it:)

    Right, since Republican and Bush appointee of the independent Federal Reserve ,Ben Bernankie's, term doesn't end until 2013.

     

    What tools do you think the Fed should (or should not) be exercising that they aren't (or are) already

     

    They needed to let the economy do what it does...

    GM should of been allowed to declare bankruptcy and the banks too.. if you bail them out they dont learn and do the same mistakes. GM would of come out of bankruptcy stronger and leaner and with something to prove. the free market system will have ups and downs but more ups than downs. let the market be the market. someone drives their company into the ground will have a hard time being CEO again. Like football players who have bad seasons are not traded well.. etc. movie stars who make crap dont get good offers.. etc.. its the market.
