Cant say Im surprised. I could care less about sports unless it has motor in front of it but his resigning will upset a LOT of my friends who are nuts about OSU foosball....
-
/\/\ Gotcha, thanks for the info!
-
Yep, knew about that one. Had a good time the few times I've been to it. Guess my question was more when and where do events similar occur during the week at non 8 am hours? lol

For your color and look, Id say B. That would look sexy. Or some Cobra R in Silver too....

I was there! Meant to come over and chat with all the C@C folks but hadnt been to any of the MCO events yet this year so second I rolled in, had some of em mobbing me wanting to know mods over winter. I'm see if I can come down this Sat hopefully again. I'll be the one in the sterotypical LOUD ASS blue Mustang. lol

WTF is that? lol Get shot if drove that in Germany...

Autotrader.com and also Cars.com is excellent search engines. Im currently looking for another Mustang which is going to be my 6banger DD car. 94 to 98 bodystyle is referred to as the S195 cars, dunno much about the 6 bangers except whats already been referred too up above. If you can find a 94 GT, they still had the 5.0 V8 engine so that could be very easily and cheap to mod/have fun with considering the massive aftermarket support for the Fox body 5.0. 99 to 04 are referred to as New Edge cars, the v6's were a 3.8 from 99 to 03 and mid year in 04 they changed to a 3.9 engine. Not a big difference, the 01 to 04 have a few quality issues ironed out that the 99 and 00's had. If looking at the 99 and 00 models, check the drivers manifold, they had a fairly good issue with water constantly leaking on them and causing potential warpage. Far as insurance, call around, and find what you can afford BEFORE you get your heart set on a car. I've been looking for about 2 months for the 01 to 04 V6 Mustang that's going to replace my F150 but I am also extremely specific in my criteria of what I want. Any questions or anything, sure lots of guys on here can help. I've owned a 99 Mustang Gt in the past and my current firebreather is a 06 GT so I've been around em them a while and know a decent bit.

So just out of curiosity as I've never gone to any of these scenes, ( aside from Cars and Coffee last year when randomly stumbled upon it and then this past Sat with the Mustang crowd ) when and where do they usually occur?

Happen to know what his 60 foot times and trap speeds were? Curious to see for a stocker 5.0...

Just got confirmation on the MCO meet area for the parade, we are meeting the coffee place by Lennox at 8:30 and rolling out at 9 am. I'll prob be there about 8 am. My neighborhood is gonna hate me for taking the car out at 7.30 on a Sat. lol

$3k? F that! I just clean them about twice a year, you do it every week?
-
Pretty wheel medic can.
-
Cool. I may be the oddball out who rolls in a domestic to it. lol We see how much I get wrapped up on the car tonight before though....
-
Good to know. 670 is my backup route out of downtown if 71 is fuggered up.
-
Sure will man, they usually let us know a week or so in advance. Once I hear from them, I'll post up the confirmation in this thread.
-
Gotcha, I hear that. For the Cars and Coffee, May 28th the Mustang Club of Ohio usually meets at the Cup of Joe in early AM as that's the normal gathering place for the parade we are in yearly. So expect to see a ton of Mustangs be there that day! Now that being said, watch them change the place we meet on me....lol

I've used Wheel Medic several times in the past and not only is their work top notch, but longevity of it as well. I have some rims they powdercoated 4 years ago that look brand new to this day.

QSL in Polaris? If it is nice out, I might swing by as I live only 5 mins away.
-
Try doing that with 9.8 city and 11.3 freeway. lol You ever get your hood resprayed?
-
I'd google it but I'm afraid of doing that at work. lol Anyhow, I was in Germany couple weeks ago and I did the Nurbergring race circuit twice in my rental Audi A4 car and it was so much fun that I decided I wanted to check out local racing back home in Cbus as I've never done anything like that and it was a blast even in a slow car. First lap was 14 mins 36 seconds and 2nd lap was 14 mins 2 seconds Few pics from the track there... They wouldn't let us take pics inside it... :-( http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f216/sogwap55/2-3.jpg A car that flipped, took a corner too fast and lost it. Wife took a pic as we went by, they had everybody flagged down. http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f216/sogwap55/5-3.jpg Top of the control tower... http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f216/sogwap55/3-4.jpg The track's security car...."drools" http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f216/sogwap55/4-3.jpg

Thanks! Yes, the hood isn't for the faint of heart....or the short. :-) I'm 6'1 and I can see perfect but few of my buddies who are 5"10 or shorter said they couldn't drive it. One of them is 5"6 and always loved my car, been wanting to drive it forever. When I got the hood installed, next week he was over and hadn't seen it yet so I tossed him the keys and asked him to run to the store to pick something up. He got all excited, ran out to the garage, heard him fire it up, sit there idling for a minute, then shut it off. Came inside, threw the keys at me and just swore for 3 minutes. It was pretty funny.
