how do they know what was replaced? and i'm guessing you did your repairs.. what if the car was purchased already repaired? aka no receipts because you didnt pay for the repairs
-
So say we had a SC salvage title.. and when trying to transfer the title into ohio they said they want an inspection.. but the inspection wont accept an out of state title so say we can get a temp plate and and then switch the sc title to ohio.. then make the inspection appointment has anyone gone through one of these appointments? It says it requires all the receipts and they may require you to take panels off? What if you bought the car with a salvage title and don't have reciepts for whatever was fixed because it was bought already rebuilt? Do they really make you take your car apart? Also, how do they know what has been fixed? Old police or insurance reports? Or is it just a general inspection?
-
we never had problems in SC with title transfers or registration.. i dont think they care as long as they get their money
-
just transferred my car from SC to OH on friday.. its like $3.50 for the inspection which is a guy checking the vin.. then you get your new title

top gear us did a straight line segment but all 3 hosts were there competing with each other both top gears have raced cars againest planes, helicopters, etc top gear has shot and blown up multiple cars besides badly copying top gear: the ghost review sucked.. jeremy clarkson blew a tire on a bentley brooklyn review and they were worried about eating a burger in a ghost They also should have had to find their own cars for the lemons race instead of just showing up to an already prepared car.. no theme was disappointing (and they actually complained about that guy having dirty hands? he just finished your car for you!) interviewed a nascar driver I'm at least happy to see people on here were not amazed by the show... i'm already seeing good reviews and not sure why next week doesnt look promising.. they seemed to find the most vain females they could with the biggest tits, who probably have issues driving their automatic prisus to the local mall without problems, for a driving lesson in a manual sports car (it might be amusing but i don't have high hopes)

Being auto shouldn't matter.. just buy a 1j with an r154 and get the pedals you need.. driftmotion sells the clutch line you need which will eliminate your hard line.. easy and the topic of this thread was screwed from the start.. there are not many STOCK (never pulled apart) engines that will handle a lot.. i'd say the jz series are good canidates.. i've heard ej's are pretty bullet proof but have no first hand experience with them.. most of the good motors have already been covered in previous posts my view of stock does not include having to change a head gasket and possibly bearings before turning up the boost on something.. yes i have seen people make power with a 7m and don't deny it can't be done, if done properly, and they can be decently reliable, but i'd rather have a 1j for various reasons.. but i also know not to argue with a 7m owner because they will defend them to the end

lol he actually doesnt have any action figures (that i know of)

we will meet up for food one night.. but not tonight transformers in imax instead

1 - stops fuel from sloshing.. helps prevent explosions etc a lot of websites have random info on the pros of it (mainly suppliers of course) 2 - i would follow the advice of a smooth painter stick instead of a sharp stick 3 - I have heard/read you normally replace it every 3-5 years but I've seen people who have never replaced it with no problems and others who say it deteriorates after a year or so 4 - I would think you would need to build a fire wall.. but how crawdad did his i think is pretty decent.. it looks like a fair bit of metal separating the cockpit from fuel.. and of course i'd make sure its vented properly.. just look up the sanctioning body of whatever you'll be racing in and see what the rule says pertaining to it

since we are going so off topic i will go back to topic slowly with some of the first demotivational posters that pop up in google for specific topics: http://punditkitchen.files.wordpress.com/2009/05/political-pictures-nascar-natural-selection.jpg http://www.demotivationalposters.org/image/demotivational-poster/0809/formula-one-formula-one-racing-demotivational-poster-1221423708.jpg http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c282/chkaotic/Humor/motivational-dragracing.jpg http://www.demotivationalposters.org/image/demotivational-poster/0907/formula-one-demotivational-poster-1248254638.jpg

as far a drag racing.. set up can take a few minutes which is why you have practice laps before you dial in.. but for the most part you know what your working with and only have to adjust to how individual complexes prep the track.. and as far as the good reflex thing.. I've hit multiple perfect lights and never had a problem lol but I do know people who have issues with it turbos may have been invented in the late 1800's/early 1900's but they have been developed greatly since then and continue to be EV's (electric vehicles) were actually invented in the late 1800's as well.. the invention of the starter obviously killed them off for a while.. but the point is if they had been continually developed we'd be quite a bit more ahead in the technology Formula 1's continued advances new technology has had a huge impact on the automotive field (not saying other racing doesnt have some impact).. I wouldn't be surprised to see a system resembling KERS on a hybrid in the next 5-10 years to make them suck a little less

1 - I pretty sure going straight is the case in drag racing.. if thats not the case your doing it wrong 2 - you've obviously never watched real drifting before.. not talking about the kids who go do donuts and call it drifting bracket racing is nothing special.. if you know your car and have it set up right it's not hard to be consistent and get dialed in.. and if you have enough money to spend on stalls, tires, line locks, etc your going to know what you should run I will go to a drag strip.. i'd even put one of my cars on the track for the hell of it.. but I personally would go to a road course, drift event, etc before a drag strip but as far as formula 1 goes.. i'm looking forward to seeing the turbo 1.6's.. i think its going to be interesting

its not just ohio with the pit issues.. SC is just like it (and everywhere else of course).. if it has any attributes to make it look like a "pit" they'll call it one.. part of the reason "pit bulls" have such a large bite/attack count DNA test might be a good idea if you really want to fight in.. most dna tests don't recognize "pit bull".. some of them have Staffordshire terriers but not all and the dog probably wouldn't give a 50/50 rotty staff mix
-
I would have came down there but didnt see this thread! I was reading about the possibility of the track while searching for one close by.
