Thanks for the input guys I will check out the "how to adjust your clutch" thread on SVTP. I guess I was just set on a new clutch but every penny I can save the better. This has been the biggest problem since I got the car so I hope I can make it better. I did an MGW already along with the Penzoil Synchromesh fluid in the trans which made a big deference. But when I am running it hard you just have to wait a second for it to slip into gear. Again thanks for all the input and help.

I am hoping after a clutch and a possible rebuild to the trans depending how I want to gear it, it will make it much better. It almost feels like a Hostess truck now.

I am the one in the silver cobra and I do have a little bit of belt slip but usually not much. Although when I got home there was plenty of rubber build up on my pulleys. As far as the people that care about how the car is shifted its because when you try to bang the gears expecally in 4th it just wont go. The trans is getting rebuilt this winter along with a new clutch and flywheel. I have never drove a car that has so many problems getting it into gear but its only for fun so who cares anyways. I should have new tires tomorrow or tuesday but will be willing to get together this weekend coming up or even later in the week and I will try to get my boss to bring his vette out. Honestly your car I think is faster. The main issue other then missing 4th was traction at the begining and talking on the phone the second run. But I was talking to Matt in the porche to make sure it was clear. Had alot of fun.

OK yeah I remember somebody talking about it. We went out and I played witht the silver vette and my buddy played with the r1. I no its late in the season but I was happy with the group of guys and wish I would have started coming out sooner. I meet a guy named adam with a blue 08 vette about 2 months ago who told me about that spot. Do you go there often? Do you live in heath?

Yeah it was my first time out but I plan on coming out more often. What kinda ride do you have? You are right down the road from me in heath.

Hi all!!! My name is Matt and have a recently new 03 Cobra and also have a 11 CBR1000 Repsol (wife rides my old 05 YZF600R). I was born and raised in Groveport and now live out towards Buckeye Lake.
