  1. Just got a 2010 F150 with Nav and when I choose Walnut Street downtown Cincinnati, it finds Walnut Street just east of 75 between exits 8 and 9 in Elmwood. You can't select by zip. Any ideas and I've RTFM twice!
  2. For those in Dayton, Dealers Choice in Centerville on RT48 opposite the new Kroger Marketplace. Tony is a magician and has pulled out some great dents for me. He's also used by local car dealerships. http://www.dealerschoice1.com/
  3. +1, I ran with them twice last year in Red Group, passing anywhere without a point. Did 376 track miles at VIR in under a day and a half. Had to leave as I was out of tires. No problem getting in 200 miles a day!
  4. Thanks Nate, I'll do some research on that.
  5. Greg, it's a great event. I've run with them several times but I wanted to try a new track and didn't want to do back to back weekends. You'll have a great time with the OVR PCA.
  6. Went with the VAC Kit and Oil Pump Nut. Please let me know why you suggest pulling the VANOS. Thanks...
  7. As I'm dropping everything it will be the opportune time to do the oil pan baffles. Any real life experience on BimmerWorld/VAC versus Turner in effectiveness and ease of installation? Any other suggestions while I'm in there? Thanks... Richard...
  8. Looking at Bimmerworld, Turner, and VAC for solid mounts for 100% track dedicated 95 E36 M3. Any real life pros and cons. Thanks...
  9. Kyle, not yet but based on past experience somewhere between $350 and $395.
  10. Autobahn will be on Motorsportreg in a few weeks. Looks like I'll be instructing there. Any takers?
  11. If Autobahn falls through I'll do Mid Ohio April 20 with the OVR PCA. See http://www.clubregistration.net/driver/event_sign_up.cfm?event_id=3858 If you haven't already signed up for Motorsportreg and Clubregistration please do so at http://www.motorsportreg.com/ and http://www.clubregistration.net It's free and you'll find many events there. Also check out 1010ths at http://www.1010thsmotorsports.com for a local Cincinnati group that runs great track events with lots of track time and open passing with no point in the Red Group.
  12. Looking into doing Autobahn on April 27-29 with the Windy City BMWCCA. It's a 3 day event if you qualify for Friday so I'm looking at what qualifications you need. See http://www.windycitybmw.com/Calendar/EventDetails.aspx?Id=66 Not much info yet but I'll post registration details as soon as I find them. I've two others who will go too if we can drive Friday. Edit: Friday is Full Track and Sat/Sun is South Track.
  13. Kyle, you'll also need a different pad in addition to better fluid. Look into Hawk HT-10, PFC-06 etc. starting off. Not cheap but a significant performance and SAFETY factor.
  14. Thanks Andy, I'll look into it. Kale, have we met at Mid Ohio? Your car looks familiar. I had a turbo charged Miata blow it's engine in front of me last year coming up over the blind left-hander just past the Honda bridge (T10A). It spewed oil all over the place and I ended up in the sand on the left before the right into Thunder Valley watching 5 cars slide by me. I was sure I was toast. Go to 1min 40 and watch. I'm the white car on the right and the blue Miata is on the left. The video pauses with the cars circled.
