And we're back. BOOM goes the dynamite. The race is this weekend, my how time flies. It should be interesting to see what cars show up for inaugural event... GM, Ford, Chrysler... I'm expecting LPE to bring to some cool cars, hopefully Norm's mid 8 second all-motor Viper shows up. For Outlaw Drag Radial I am expecting some of the LS diehards to show up and do battle down the 1320... Ray Litz, Mark Carlyle, Mike Brown and Mark Koehler are all planning to race. So check your schedules and do what ya gotta do to sneak out and race this weekend. Air looks great and records will be set! I've never been to Norwalk, looking forward to checking it out in person! ~John

Yeah it's my buddy's car I travel with him to all the races as crew chief. Sucks because we had planned to go for the big number and split some wigs but instead we'll be standing around getting drunk at 10am.

Just a flesh wound, en route to frame shop as we speak. http://i638.photobucket.com/albums/uu101/ProStockJohn/Murder%20Bird/IMAG0991.jpg Vid of crash, NWS for language: (that's me in the camo) http://i638.photobucket.com/albums/uu101/ProStockJohn/Murder%20Bird/th_IMG_2439.jpg

LS Fest III is coming up, September 7-9. If you have not heard of the event check out the main site http://www.lsfest.com. We were planning to run the Murder Bird again (LSX ODR #385) but we crashed it at Milan a couple weeks ago so it won't be out again until Indy. I'll be there and will probably flog my 4000 raceweight Camaro, hoping for low 12's with smart boltons and no cam. Some folks are still sorting out their travel plans so please make sure to check out the schedule of events! Hope to see y'all there. Hi Rick, I had a '94 Quasar Blue Z/28 A4, and back in the day when we had our LS1Tech racing series we allowed both so we had big dogs like Rick Intrau show up and run some of the events. I still only see one forum. Powers that be, I want to post a copy of the Lingenfelter race flyer hence me being here. If I'm not given a access can someone do it for me. /occasionalspammer

I do not recognize any flavor offshoots created after 1994. I believe that we have to support the traditional flavor or the world will quite simply end. On a more serious note, I hate it when I really should buy drag radials but I also want cooler wheels, and not knowing how to message that to my lovely wife in a way that makes any sense.

P.P.P....Pringles? Ummm, Pringles are manufactured, they're not grown from trees like Doritos. Pringles are made in a factory. I've toured it. I've not been to a Dorito forest and strangely have been unable to find any info on the web, but my friend told me this in trust when I was 12 and I believe him. We were both in the 5th grade though he was repeating it for the third time (probably just taking it easy I imagine).

I just read that sticky, and realize that if you don't like my first post, I never make it out of here. I can hardly breathe now, is this box just a little bit smaller than a minute ago? I hail from Chicago and I'm one of those folks who likes drag racing though I've tried hypnosis to transfer my fascination from heads up racing to road racing. I co-founded LS1Tech in the fall of 2001, and we sold it a few years ago. We've since started PlanetLSX, which we are still tinkering with in terms of what it should be. Over the years I've raced: http://www.fquick.com/images/vehicles/full/695239075.jpg http://www.fquick.com/images/vehicles/full/695239073.jpg http://www.fquick.com/images/vehicles/full/694983447.jpg http://www.fquick.com/images/vehicles/full/694998223.jpg Even this... http://www.fquick.com/images/vehicles/full/14517200170.jpg But now this: (guess the car sitting behind it) http://i638.photobucket.com/albums/uu101/ProStockJohn/2010%20Camaro%20SS/IMAG0919.jpg Got this Heavy Chevy to run 13.15@106.7 stock and cut a 1.95. I went with the slushbox and I'm glad I did. Have since down a round of bolt-ons that will stay off-web until an article goes live in GMHTP but I can say that the car has run pretty good on the stock Pirelli tires. Whew! See you at LS Fest, and the Lingenfelter Performance Nationals too. I'll be at Indy too, I help with an Outlaw Drag Car owned and piloted by Andy Essary.

I like drag racing but more importantly, I really like Doritos. No don't just like, them, I LOVE them. My oldest is named Dorito, and my youngest is named Funyon because they are typically on the same shelf in the store. I'm that guy in the meeting with orange fingers. They go with everything. Just had some ice cream with dorito crushies on top.. :gabe:
