  1. Heres a link. Would like to buy it but not sure about the block. http://columbus.craigslist.org/pts/5255249675.html He won't tell me a name of the machine shop that did the work. Just says a guy down the street owns a machine shop and did the work. Would like to pick it up and do a nice street build but the block scares me. He says the pistons, rods are new but the pistons look like they are used do to the scuff marks on the top of the one in the pic.
  2. Just sent money. Not sure if I did it right as I sent it under friend or family but sent 100. I prob drink that in beer a week so if I can spin the shit out of the green backs on my car and truck and god knows what else stupid shit I buy why not do something good right? I hope I get the pic of the car! I'll put it in the garage with the other race pics were it should be! Hope for a speedy recovery!
  3. Parts came out of my Malibu. Switching to a 9". All parts are mechanically fine. Auburn posi unit 100 bucks and also a 3.23 gear and 4.10 gear. would like to get 100 a piece out of the gears. If someone wanted the rear end housing complete with everything they could come get it for 250. I have a way to load the rearend up without lifting anything. Thanks, Eric text or call at 614-580-7767
  4. Wasn't trying to be a dick. I do appreciate your help. It just seems like I can get a really good deal on this rearend but don't want to spend the cash on something that isn't going to hold up. I def don't have it figured out. I don't know much about the strength of a ford 9". I am hoping for 800 rwhp after I turbo the car. Just don't want to spend money twice in the same area if ya know what I mean.
  5. I guess it depends on what you do. As long as the bracing goes to the end of the axle, then you're good. Bracing just over the rear housing does nothing on a 9".

I didn't ask how to back brace a ford 9". I asked at what HP level you need to have a ford 9" housing with back bracing and gussets. The housing in queston is a QP ford 9" housing as in the first post.

  6. I have a NOS cheater nitrous system with NOS purge kit and NOS bottle and brackets. It a complete kit and was told its got the up to 400hp upgrade. Everything worked but hurt the engine so im going a different route and selling this. Bottle has brand new liquid filled gauge and is still half full!. 500$ buys it all. Im not parting the kit out. All or nothing. This is a great deal. This package would be over 900 brand new! Call text or pm me at 614-580-7767. Thanks, Eric. http://www.jegs.com/i/NOS/741/02001/10002/-1?parentProductId=745484

  7. At what point horse power or E.T. wise do you need a ford 9 inch that's braced on the back and all the fixin's? I found this rearend but not sure at what level I'll need it braced. Q.P.ford 9" for G-body.35 spline Moser axles,5 x 4 3/4 bolt pattern.Drum brakes.Dewco nodular center section,speed-motive 4.30 gears,HD drag spool, timken bearings and seals, billet pinion yoke with 1350 u-joints,Daytona aluminum pinion support. Also have new in box Eaton Detroit locker#71592 as I didn't want to run spool on street, rear. Also comes with Slimbo alum.outer axle seal inserts and new in box Timken seals,UMI LCA relocation bracket kit,Iceman adj.UCA with UMI poly bushings. He's asking 1800 for the rearend. Im sure its worth that. Says its got 200 miles on it.
