Ill agree had a 1997 sl1 burnt a quart every 700 miles but spun like a top. Had 240k miles on mine with original clutch lolz. Sold it with clutch on its last leg. I have a soft spot for these cars and wouldnt mind another for a DD.

My buddy Dustin who has built a few harness's for ProEFI's in the past is gonna be helping me through it. The harness seems pretty easy, we will see if that holds true.... lol

I just don't understand why you bought a stiff lightweight rwd uncomfortable racecar as a daily driver in Ohio but were only concerned about having to shift your own gears, that's all.

 

Im sorry :/ but most racecars are autos these days so I guess you are right it is a racecar then.

Around 150whp....its meh car is 2800lbs

I daily a white auto FRS also. My only complaint is crawling to get out of it. Girlfriend complains about the ride quality, and she thinks the car is too stiff too. Bazinga.

 

Ya these are the same complaints my wife has. It is pretty low and still has to much wheel gap for my taste lol. One more thing is that ive noticed condensation in the tail lights. Looks like ill be getting these before long http:// http://gasketninja.com since the OE ones are trash.

Hey guys usually a lurker on here and with my supra being on hiatus for the winter I havemt had much motive to get on here. Anyways got a nice new daily 2014 Scion FR-S in the whiteout with the auto trans. Picked the auto cause I usually end up in rush hour traffic and the stick in my old daily got old real fast. Not looking to do to many mods to this car. Thinking if doing the H1 mini projectors from The Retrofit Source to replace the halogen projectors and do some audio stuff on the inside. Cars slow but wasnt looking for a fast car as that is what Im building my supra to be. The handling is what I was interested in. Anyways blah blah blah here are the pics. Enjoy

Very nice looking build. Im assuming stock internals for this build? If so whats the power goal? Are you going to run racegas or take advantage of proefi flex fuel capabilities? Do you have upgraded cams? Make sure Larry puts the rolling anti lag option to use with your tune so you wont have to brake boost on the hwy

I only know one person who runs the kit and his car is pretty beast and is in the mid 10's. Is anyone running the 67BB and 76BB on GT40 motors and what kind of number? There's only a thirty dollar difference in price, so I say why not go big? Wouldn't lower PSI be better on the turbo, and still put out good HP numbers?

 

And most 5.0 blocks give around 550 but I've seen them hold over 600 for months before. It all depends on how well they are built and if you're lucky!

 

Dont go to big as having a turbo not perform in its efficiency range is kind of a waste.

Hey everyone just moved here from AZ and I have a 1992 Toyota Supra that has a 2jzgte swap. Has a huge list of mods to it but the short version is 67mm turbo, BC 264 cams, 4 inch exhaust, ID 1000s, Proefi with flex fuel capabilities, built 5 speed with billet shift forks and chromolly thrust washer, Teflon SS fuel lines, and a custom 14.2 inch front BBK. Car is still in AZ at the moment and will be for a couple more months until I have the funds to get it tuned, and shipped out here. Latest numbers are 480whp at 18lbs untuned and is set up for close to 700whp depending if there is enough injector. Anyways Im in the columbus area and here are some pics of my POS.
