  1. Nice pic, did you get new/larger tires? Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  2. I have personally seen so many vehicles lately with small children (3 and under) with no car seats. Am I wrong to get so pissed off about this? One was at our daycare, the rest have been spread out over town (some admittedly in lower income areas). Some not even buckled in! My wife even bought a family a new car seat a couple weeks ago, because she saw them loading a 1yr old in the back seat with just a seat belt. They happened to be in the parking lot of baby's are us, so she respectfully asked if they had one. Maybe it's because I'm a parent of two small children, but it really irks me. Just a sudden stop could injure your child for life. Do you report them? Do you ignore it? What's right? End rant. Oh and I snapped a pic of this little guy while I was getting gas today: Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  3. Ouch! Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  4. That's exactly the slotted "raptor" mesh I was talking about. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  5. I'd like to have our whole house done. Looking for a professional job on siding/soffit/brick and gutters. A real cleaning, not just Joe blow with a Lowe's pressure washer. I'll be painting the siding afterward. Thanks for any recommendations. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  6. Changed the diff, transfer case , and tranny fluids Friday. Got an alignment as close as possible until a few parts are replaced. I need the panhard bar, and apparently a camber bolt in the front passenger. Drove it to Athens for the weekend, so it was a good road test. 33's fresh asphalt provided a nice smooth opportunity to feel/listen for any issues at cruising speed. Overall it felt better than expected, just a small vibration that can be felt. Hard to explain, not a shimmy, but feels like something in the front rotating assembly. I blame it on one of two things: 1. The failure to get the pass side completely aligned due to bad camber bolt. 2. I haven't installed the diff drop yet, so the front cv joints are at a decent angle. 7. If they're only targeting 250 mph, they may as well just build us a straight, flat road and give us Bugatti Chirons!! [emoji13] Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  8. Umm, 3rd gen 4runner of course! I don't know much about the Nissan's, but have often wondered why they weren't more popular in the off-road scene. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  9. L O L.. you're my hero man, these cars are always ridiculous. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  10. OBO. Someone show some interest so I'm motivated to clean/move it. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  11. Use the Raptor mesh, I think they call it slotted. Looks a little less cheap than regular wire mesh. I think that's what I'm going to use. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  12. Agreed, I don't dislike his bumper, but one of the things I like about this truck is that it's 20 yrs old and has a bit of that tough/rugged old suv look. Especially with the running boards removed. When are you heading to Rush? I really wanted to make it, but we have a wedding in Athens, and I still need to button up a few things to get it trail ready. We'll have to plan a trip with your Wheeling buddies. Have you been to Southington 4x4? Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  13. Actually after really looking at it, I'm not crazy about the look. The fender flares don't match, and it sounds like there is welding involved to make the conversion. I think I'm going to stick with the Satoshi grill mod and decide on chrome delete. I can do those myself, basically a gutted front grill and mesh added to look similar to the FJ. 14. Didn't even know this was an option. Thanks a lot, just what I needed, another reason to spend money on my "budget truck". Don't you have a mini to fix or something! [emoji3] Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  15. Examples of stock bumper mods: Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  16. I'm not in a hurry bumper wise, I'd love to bend/weld my own tube, but that's pretty ambitious. Here are a few comparisons of running boards vs none: Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  17. Questions now are: 1. Running boards or no? 2. Keep chrome bumpers or black them, probably with bedliner. 3. Thinking about cutting/trimming the stock bumpers as I won't be buying aftermarket for a while. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  18. CR opinions, should I pull the running boards? It'd look a lot taller Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  19. Nothing crazy, but the ride is so much better. I'm a little disappointed in the rear lift, but when I get a new panhard bar it should help. Before pic on bottom: Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  20. North end wrench We take my father in laws 911 there and have had great service.
  21. This should be fun to cram back in there: Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  22. Gasser mode engaged! Maybe I should just throw slicks on the rear and run 20 sec passes at cr drag day... Rear lift hopefully installed by tomorrow night. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  23. Hard to believe that it was 16 yrs ago. I'll never forget watching that unfold that morning, and that feeling in your gut the whole time. RIP to those fallen that day and in the ripple of events following. Condolences to those who lost people close to them. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

    Hey now

I believe spring isolators. How are bumps with all of them removed? Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  25. I just sent Clay to Airgas to swap mine. My O2 tank was outdated and they didn't hassle him at all. Different story at Matheson. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
