Hi there, I had a thread back from last year describing some issues I've been having with smoke, either at cold startup, or when driving and letting off the throttle. Consensus seems to be valve seals, but I still haven't ruled out turbo failure. Recently I replaced my exhaust with 100% straight pipe from the turbos back. Since doing this, I've noticed a pool of oil in the exhaust...to me this sounds more like it could be turbo failure, but not sure. Does anyone have experience on Supras, and would be willing to look into this, help me diagnose the problem, and resolve? I'm on the east side of Town in Hilliard, and of course willing to compensate. Let me know. Matt

Figured I'd close the loop on the thread. Jeff McCool offered to help me out at his shop. I ended up buying a 3.5" standard 2-bolt flange and some 3.5" mandrel bent Stainless pipe from Jegs. I met Jeff at his shop on Saturday AM and he custom built the exhaust, cutting & welding the pieces together, all the way from the downpipe back. As picky as I am, I'm super happy with the result. Jeff really took his time and paid attention to every detail to make sure the end product was perfect. And on top of all that, he was more than fair on price for the 5 hours of time it took. Big thank you to Jeff for taking the time for this project.

Thanks for all the recommendations. Working with ForcedFab in Dayton first to see if they have something already in stock. Will keep you posted.

Talked to Mike, he also preferred I find someone to do the flange for me. Anybody know of someone close to Hilliard that would be able to take my current flange and cut me a replica?

Bump anyone?

Not sure...Mad Hatter immediately turned me away as soon as they heard it was a 4-bolt flange and I didn't have a flange for them... PM sent to Alex.

Hi there, I'm looking to go 1 of 2 routes for some custom exhaust work on a 97 Supra: 1. Custom fab a muffler-less Axle back section to bolt directly to my current HKS midpipe. The trick is, the HKS mid-pipe has a 4-bolt flange that I can't find anywhere online and I don't want to ruin my HKS Axle-back, so I would need the shop to custom fab the flange 2. If the flange work is too complex, I'd be open to a full custom Turbo back from downpipe back (std 2-bolt flange), but I want to pay a fair price. I'm looking for Stainless steel, 3.5" ID preferably. I talked to Mad Hatter because I saw them come up on search results here, but they weren't willing to work with the custom flange, and they said they didn't have Stainless?? Any other recommendations? TIA

Like new, Xbox One - Day One Edition. Includes everything from original box, including the box & all original protective wrapping (console, Kinect, power brick & cable, HDMI cable, headset, controller, manuals, etc) Barely used, everything works great! Bought from Target in December 2013. Going price on eBay appears to be ~$425 total shipped, so this is what I'm looking for. Located in the Dublin area. Also, I have NBA 2k14 for this too that I'd sell for like $10 if interested. Pics available upon request. PM is the best way to get ahold of me. Matt

Truckin, Unfortunately I don't trust myself to do the install. Who did you use for your materials? Also, curious to hear why you set in concrete vs. gravel or soil? I've read that setting the entire post in concrete won't allow the wood to breathe which accelerates rotting. Also, how long did it take you and how many people did you have to help you? Duffey, I'll give Litchfield a call this afternoon! Thanks

Thanks! I'll contact them soon!

$8000 is a bit over my budget... I just had another guy, TM Construction quote me $4.50/ft to install.

Yes, this will be one of the first things we want done after closing.

Hi there, My wife and I are building a house in Hilliard in Heritage Preserve, a new community on the west side of the city. The house should be complete in the Oct/Nov timeframe, so we are beginning to research options for fencing our back yard. The lot is 0.50 acres and I've calculated that we will need about 425' of fencing to enclose the back yard. It looks like our HOA will be limiting us to 3-Rail Wood Split rail, and we will need to add chicken wire or something equivalent to keep in our dog. So far, I've spoke with: Ace Fence (fenceinstall.com) - I was quoted $8000 installed. Fence rails are hemlock and posts are locust. Outdoor-FX (outdoor-fx.net) - I was quoted $7800 installed. He called it a wood 3 rail fence with pressure treated posts and mesh. Discount fence supply (discountfence.com) - I was quoted $2000 for just materials delivered to my door. Posts are pine and rails are poplar. Wood is pre-treated with ACQ. Chicken wire or equivalent not included. I also talked to an independent contractor that discount fence recommended me to, and was quoted $5/ft to install which seemed fair, but I can't find any information on the guy at all which makes me nervous. I'd welcome any and all feedback about anything mentioned above, as well as recommendations for other companies to talk to for the best product/service/pricing. In the end, I want to make sure I get a product that is as close to maintenance free as possible and for the best price. I was looking to stay under $5k for this, especially given the materials quote above was $2k but I just don't know if this is realistic. I know installing myself is an option, but I don't have the time, tools, or expertise to do this right. Thanks, Matt
