  1. Did you pick one up? I'm very curious. Always been infatuated with saiga style shotguns. And any one that has interchangeable parts and mags with an actual saiga is worth a look
  2. Like the other dude said, check the bore. A lot of people shoot surplus ammo and dont know to clean it after. Corrosive ammo with trash a barrel if not cleaned
  3. Prices shot up with the import restrictions placed by the previous President. Rumor is there's a literal boat load of m44's, 91/30's, x54r ammo, and American garlands awaiting to be imported if trumps guys lift the restrictions. So there's a decent chance these will come back down if price.
  4. That sounds awesome! Ive done a lot of shooting, but never at a verified 1000yards. I'm pretty efficient with a pistol, more than efficient with an AR/AK/Hk at intermediate range. Never tried at extended range. And my shotgunning is horrible lol. Sounds like great fun!
  5. Holy hell this forum has a gun section! I'll be spending more time in here than the car stuff lol. What's this range about? I do all my shooting in the back yard or at a buddy's house. Never been out there before. What's the attitude like? Range Nazis or laid back? Super busy?
  6. That is too awesome! I might suggest Deer Creek State Park. I've had a lot of success there and know others who have too. It's big enough where you don't have to worry a whole lot about idiots, although I would be mindful. (If you see another vehicle, just leave the area). I would offer some private land where I'm at, 1 hour straight north of columbus, but there are a few known eagles in the area. I don't know if they would play nice.

    Hey now

Yessir! I meant spring isolators. Removed top and bottom from the front. Just removed one from the rear. Removing them will lower it another 1/4" or so each. No difference in road noise, although the cobras aren't really quiet anyway. Cutting factory linear springs, along with using good caster/camber plates and steeda balljoints, has really no negative effect on ride quality. Just cut the correct end of the spring.

    Hey now

Thanks Mitch! Yea photobucket was really pissing me off. Yea it's lowered. I actually cut 1 coil off stock springs on all corners. Took out all iso's except for 1 rear. And x2 balljoints. Believe it or not it rides great, a little stiffer than stock but a lot less roll. Thanks everyone!

    Hey now

Well that's my first attempt at posting pictures lol. And crappy garage pics at that. But that's all I have at the moment. More to come! Interior is actually mint. 39k miles. Only simple bolt ins, most of which were done by me.

    Hey now

Hey all. Obviously new to the forum and trying to get re-acquainted with the car scene. I have a background with turbo supras but moved my focus over to the diesels (duramax!!) for the last 9 or so years. I recently got a deal on an sn95 cobra I couldn't pass on. A car I obsessed over in high school. So here I am! Trying to pick up what I've missed out on over ther years. So please excuse my ocassional ignorance LOL. Ill try to post up some pics (if anyone cares).
