i'll post up on this.. some of their body work will not work with stock headers.. they are either to wide or to low.. and will burn through.. i and the wife both have full exhaust so never had an issue.. as far as paint goes.. no issues what so ever with EITHER of my sets for my r6.. i painted my old set myself did fine.. and i had my newest set professionally painted.. and it is amazing my wifes set had a slight issue with the gel coat on the upper only.. but JOHN @ optimal racing did us right and took care of it.. it still took the paint fine and its holding up quite well after a little extra work from the painter.. but my newest tail and the wifes second set looks perfect

its not just the day of the track day that i would be watching it the day before... mid ohio sucks AFTER the rain too if the track doesnt have enough time to dry out... humidity doesnt help.. that and as we all tend to see things get pushed back and i was showing the R word as 40-50 on ssat and sunday too

thanks all... i love it so far.. its a blast.... so much power... only think i was slightly concerned about was the towing capabilities.because of the Fox racing suspension its rated at 6k.. but my 6x10 enclosed with 2 bikes and gear is only 2500lbs so i could upgrade without issues.. and from the raptor forums there are suspension upgrades to up it

Ok so REally long story short, I've been looking at newer trucks for awhile and was planning on buying toward the end of the year.. I was driving a 2003 Suburban... well the other day i was leaving for the bank when a rottwieler got out of its fence across the street. it was running diagonally from behind me to cross the street after some other dogs. i never saw him coming. The dog run straight into the rear passenger door of the HUGE BLACK SUBURBAN!! put a bowling ball size dent in the door.(dog was fine little fucker shook it off ).. i went to Krieger Ford on Morse road as i know the owners.. had an estimate drawn up for the ladies insurance. $1600 the door had to be replaced. I wasn't concerned as i didn't have to pay for it... while i was there the wife. goes OH look at THAT truck... What did she happen to pick out... a 2010 Ford SVT Raptor well after talking to my friend.. we worked out a substantial deal... on my suburban and the Raptor.. and i drove that baby home! soo here ya go... 2010 Ford SVT Raptor 6.2L 413Hp. 434Ftlbs on the fly 4x4, Tow Package, Ford Sync Leather, Power everything, heated seats. Andy man i love you... ALL HOMO but to add to it.. seriously people.. just about any bike is capable to ride a track day.. with VERY minimal prep... the stuff you could do in a few hrs. you dont need full leathers... textile jackets and pants work for most orgs at the novice level as long as they zip 3/4 at the waist... like the post said... nothing out there to distract or take away from the FUN of riding your bike on a sweet twisty road. plus the added benifit of as much safety aspects in place as you could ever hope for! do it just for saying you tried it once...
