  1. I've been out of the game for a couple of years well more like 3 years now and my trackbike been taking up space in my workshop. Question is what the best way of putting a value on the bike? I want to sell it to someone getting into trackdays. I.I feel it would be a good starter bike for trackdays. I don't need to make money but would like to get a fair value out of it.

The bike is a 2003 Honda CBR600rr Track only bike. Has 6949 miles on it. I think it had rough 3500k on it when I converted it to a trackbike. It has a clean title. I have roughly every spare part other then a spare motor, frame and subframe. I had it running today and it started strong. The front forks need rebuilt but I have all the parts to service them.

What would be a good starting price for this bike?

    Thanks for your time.

    Matt

  2. I just hope there are other 600s there that I can learn from rather than passing them all.

the 21st I group was lacking in the talent level it seemed

What lap times are you running?

Ill be there... Im running around 43s depending on the gapping of riders and if you get caught behind a 1000 that camps in the corners...

  3. I had a nice 2 hour nap... After 2pm the track was dry and grippy. I hate midohio in the am there's no grip till the session right before lunch.

Im happy with yesterday, I wished it was warmer in the am and no rain but I got the dust knocked off in the afternoon.

I saw that guy at Tech in morning with the hard saddle bags and such. lol I was laughing my ass off!

  4. I do the same, I hate to say it but that's about the only time I log on there as well. It seems I have no more questions about the rr, I have seen just about every mod there is to do for our bikes, and when I try to answer someones question someone else beats me to it with a better answer than what I had in mind. But the parts and racing sections are what keep me there.

Glad to see you are considering sticking around as well, we have alot of track riders who know what they are doing. Including lizzard who is at every mid-Ohio trackday he will answer all your questions and we have some racers that hang around as well.

but as far as the board goes we are pretty close knit as well. The only downfall to that is we tend to obtain some drama but ignore it and go on with life.

Are you planning on doing another trackday at midohio this year?
