Aspen is the daughter of the late Craig Potter, who recently passed in a motocycle accident, she is eight years old. This Saturday, 8/26, there is a benefit ride for her starting at Gatsby's in Gahanna. It's on Hamilton Rd. across from Stolies. We leave out of there at noon for a short four or five stop ride, probably wherever Craig hung out. Back at Gatsby's by four. Pretty sure this is on biker time, so put an "ish" after each of the times. Pops

Speaking for Clutch, He swears by his and I see a lot of them at the track. You might want to get a price from him also. Pops

I'm real happy with Progressive. I switched to them after my DUI and they didn't even raise the rates. Remember though, I'm old and ride a Dresser. Pops

KickStands, on Lazelle, has signs of their free Sunday cookout. Been there two in a row and no cookout. The reason is "No cook." Well guess what? Chef Jeff has stepped up to the plate. Thaaaas riiiight, I'm cooking. I guaranteed a bigger crowd than last Sunday, five bikes, three of which were sport bikes. I'll be firing up the charcoal grill around four, probably burgers, brats, dogs, what have ya. we'll see how it goes from there. I'm hoping the grub runs out early, and the crowd is huge. It'll just get better. I'm going to bring a few Portobellas for the veggies of the crowd. Tip jar goes to Clutches racer fund. It's on Lazelle, east of Sancus on the south side of the road. For thos who are geographicaly challenged, buy a compass, or just lok for the line in front of me cooking. Pops

Thanks for the safety wire advice. It must be a Fastraxx deal, maybe an antique rule for antique bikes, I sure couldn't figure out how to get a drill in that R6 on the header studs. The rest is wired and he ordered the right side case cover tonight, already has the left. We'll be able to make the Fastraxx Race at Nelson Ledges on the seventh. Is that The Night? Stealing a line from Skyline, Pops is serving up a three way celebration. Number one, Clutch will have passed his WERA license rquirements, and will be able to grid up and have some fun. Something he's been dreaming of since I first put him on a bike at nine months old. Number two, Owndjoo will be sporting that shiney new #1 tag, his trophy, and the trophy girls here at the PPP before he goes off to Vegas. Number three, that one's Super Double Top Secret that only I know. Who's in? Pops

Just came in from out back behind the barn. You know it, it's still burning. Saw a whisp of smoke, grabbed the pitch fork and whalla, we have flames! Not to be confused with Flamers, like my horseshoe partner that dared to show up with a Fucking "That team up North" shirt on, no wonder we lost! The stories of Saturday night are starting to surface and I want to hear them all, please. GettingShaggy came over last night, her's was a good one. She said she was going out front for something or another, turned the corner past the Harley Vault, and two girls were on either side of the rented Ladies room just rocking it back and forth with another inside. By the time she got there, they decided to both get on one side and tip it, that's why it looked crooked when we came in @ 4:00 Clutch, although everything looked crooked by then. She said she got there just in time to keep it from going over and said "Pops is renting this and doesn't need to be buying it, otherwise you girls would be pissing in the poison ivy." Stopped in there today for their supposedly free cookout. No food again. I asked the bartender what the deal was and she told me no one would cook. Hey, Chef Jeff here, I love to cook. She took my # and said "deal." More sport bikes than cruisers today. I'll keep ya posted. Pops
