Leave the helmnet locked to the hooks. Master lock makes a rope lock, you can run it though one of your jacket sleeves and/or pans and leave the it fixed to the bike's frame. Never do this at a bar; you don't want some drunk pissing in your helmet (hasn't happened to me but someone else I know)

The new bike is titties and beer. ~270 miles already, trying to keep the Rs down and varied till I get to the 600 mile service Rode with a friend (RSV 1000) from Delaware to Lane Ave, had dinner, back to sawmill and around Polaris tonight. Couldn't be happier.

Not that it matter but I do find interesting they cite 'web forum' and 'honda' in their tsb

Mine passed inspection at HNW before leaving inventory. IMO ... they are going WAY conservative on the recall ... which is not a bad thing unless you are the one waiting on a new bike

Just picked up my new bike today!!! Many thanks to zerocash, HNW, and their rockstar service department. New bike fits like a glove aside from a few minor adjustments I'll be making. My digital camera is broke so no pics for now :/

Yeah, I got the same thing and the guy asks 'how do you feel about this' .. to which i said ... 'thats a horrible price' ... laid out the other offers in town and they came back to beat it by a few bucks .. <shrug>

I don't plan on going there for service or parts; just looking to purchase (gsx) and they gave me best local price by a few bucks. I've been looking at a different bike; of preferred dealers in town one is out of stock the other is priced a little high. I stopped in a motorsports columbus on a whim. After hearing their bullshit MSRP, 1/3 down, 48 months @ 14% I told the guy that is horrible and in a single go-around he came back with basically same price as local dealers except beating it by a few bucks and having the exact bike in stock. Aside from the bullshit '2nd chance car lot' sales pitch it was pretty straight forward. So is it a place to categorically avoid or just crap to watch out for?

Any dealers in the area do buddy pack deals? Anyone interested? Can't seem to shake the itch for a new ride.
