  1. Just wanted to post and say hi, as I'm still a constant lurker even though I moved back in September. Sold my POS Katana right before I moved. Stumbled upon another bike last week, after being deprived for months.

It's a ZX-9R cammed and jetted. Got it for a straight trade against my truck, which was on its way out.

Don't be jealous about the weather down here, because the bike scene sucks and the roads are straight.

  2. Best GPS for under $200

I've seen a "TomTom One: 3rd edition" for $150. Anyone know anything good or bad about them?

    Anything better for under $200?

I like it better then my in dash AVIC-D1 for simplicity. I'd definitely recommend it.

What's bad about it is that it doesn't mention street names in the directions.. aka. "turn right in 500ft" instead of "turn right on Sawmill in 500ft".

I recently bought it to help navigate around Orlando, and it's a big help. It seems to be a hundred times more accurate then my old in dash system.

  3. I play every now and again. I have a 360 and a PS3, but wouldn't considder myself a gamer. I tool around playing sports games every now and again. I was pretty hyped about GTA 4, because I get hooked on the series.. but I'm kinda disapointed that it's being dumbed down because of the 360.

Like I said I play the games to kill time or procrastinate from what I should be doing.

  4. Rode the 555 for the first time myself a few weeks ago, a couple of blind hills will have you wondering where the road goes on the other side (read me slowing down to about 10mph only to find straight road on the other side). But that happens on all the roads down there. That same weekend did 676, 26, and 260. Outside of dodging gold wings all weekend (that's what kind of luck i have) great riding, definately slept good that night.

I was always relieved to see straight on the other side of a hill. I don't know about you though.

It was a hell of a ride, I just wasn't ready for 15mph turns or the occasional gravel. I'd do it again, but I'm selling my bike and moving to Florida here shortly, if everything goes as planned.
