sweet, we should meet up, maybe i won't have you running by me at 100mph constantly, lol. my friends like to go out and run full out to show off cuz they know I won't even try.
-
ohhhhh, i always thought those pads were weight activated....?
-
good luck, kinda bummed that a bunch of good deals popped up the week after I bought my bike, but I'm happy with it and the price i paid. that looks like a good deal!
-
haha dude thats good, first i wasnt calling YOU a fad rider, or a squid, i've never met you. so chill. sounds like you enjoyed it. dont worry about the shifting and finding neautral, smoothness comes with seat time. Nah man you're cool, I wasn't talking towards your or anything, just stating that if someone looks down on me because of how I ride, they can kiss my hairy white ass. Cuz I could care less, I'm having fun and that's all that matters to me. how long you been riding chicago? glad to know I'm not alone.
-
I'm definitely NOT a fad rider or willing to do something that I'm uncomfortable with to be cool. fuck you, fuck him, fuck everyone, i'll do as i please. I rode today for my first time, only for about 30 minutes as I had to go somewhere, but I got up to about 35mph and did some turns and whatnot, this is gonna be fun. Only thing me and my buddies noticed was that I shifted way early, and the bike was kinda chugging, you know? And I wasn't sure if I held the gas through the shifts or not, so I kinda backed off and that made the shifts not so smooth. oh well. I'm set to spend an hour tomorrow, and then all day friday/saturday. I can say it was scary but very exciting at the same time. I had no problem with balancing or starting. Only thing I had some confusion on was finding neutral when coasting to a stop. That 1 down, 1/2 up thing is something i gotta catch on to. all in all a good day.

so wait, what exactly does it do? it makes the light green whenever u hit the button?
-
Last I talked with a few friends they were still out at 10:45ish, heard there was a good crowd. I wish I A)could ride on the streets, B) had my temps or license, and C) had the freedom to go out and join them.
-
Oh fuck me, i take back everything I said. $3500 for that much power on a bike, that's a fucking rocketship. DOOOOO ITTTTT.
-
jesus, that's more than I paid for my entire bike and gear, lol. What power does that kit create? go for it!
-
Thanks man, I'm gonna try and get to bmv today and take my temps test, and I read in the book that the bmv gave me that if I take the BRC I don't have to take the skills(riding) test to get my license, anyone done this? I'm hoping to get into next tuesday's BRC so we'll so how that goes. I'll look into the book. Matt

haha, some guy at Iron Pony told me what chicken strips are this weekend, I laughed my ass off, but then thought to myself.....wait, self, you've never ridden...so that means your new bike is probably full of what? ah yes, teh chicken strips. lol, hopefully mine come off fast.

not sure what the gyro efffect is you're speaking of but I wouldn't want to be in your position when you hit a pothole or something in the road or a car swerves over, can you say fuuuuuck?
-
you guys are crazy, fuck wheelies, lol. I saw some idiot going down bethel at like 45 w/ his arms crossed, and this wasn't for like 10feet or anything, it was definitely like a full minute at like 40ish mph. He looked like he was doing the indian squat, but just w/ his arms. And even though I think its cool that people fly by me on the hwy at like 100mph riding wheelies, its really stupid and unsafe at the same time. I saw some guy trying to do a wheelie the other day, he kept giving it gas and the wheel would come up like 2 inches then it looked like he braked and did it all over again multiple times, lol. i giggled like a schoolgirl to myself. :?

What happened? Someone got owned by there smack talk? Just to let you guys know, Kevin is coming over to my place on Saturday morning, and another one of my friends that has a gixxer will be there. Just hanging and he'll be showing me the ropes of the bike. Anyone's welcome. 375 e. 5th ave, cols, oh 43201, its a business called Clark Grave Vault.
-
haha i got pwned. Only reason I asked again was because I was worried I called back the wrong number, lol. See ya saturday mornin'.
-
Those do look nice but damn $400, I'm not really sure I'm going to really be doing anything to my bike to make it worthwhile. I'll probably just be doing oil changes and whatnot, but I guess you do need one if you ever want to remove a tire, right? Hey Yota, Kevin I think, you gonna call me back?
-
I think it'd be nice to have a bike stand or whatever for the garage. And I want some chrome wheels for my bike, or polished is fine probably. Its a 99 vtr1000, not sure if that matters. Thanks
-
My bet is he CAN'T. He's DEAD. Can't you read?

I like how this quote, " Opponents said it took Buford's - that the 15-year-old might be alive if a citizen had not been armed. " BULLSHIT. The only thing that would have changed is the 15 year old bitch punk would be alive and an INNOCENT citizen would be murdered. This article is biased, they do identify that the thief had drawn a gun initally, but after that fact they seem to forget about it altogether. This kid had it coming, I'm not so sure the shooter should have shot "multiple times", but if you come to my house with a gun pulled you best be ready for whatever the fuck I've got.

I'm down for this! I'm not dating anyone at the moment but have a couple hot friends that would probably be down to do it in a bikini.
-
welcome! recognize you from the other board, ever get that truck fixed?

I bought the only kind I found, lol. They said slight modification is necessary. But I plan on repainting the bike this winter anyways. I bought them from "Motovation" online because all the stores I went to couldn't find any for my bike and this was literally 1 of 2 places I found online and on ebay, the other set being a lit pair and $135+shipping. Where I paid $75 shipped for mine. These are them... http://www.motovationusa.com/mvstore/Sc ... product=13 Anyone have a smooth hand to hold a dremel?

Called you back and left a message. What day works best for you? I just got an email confirmation my frame sliders shipped today, so I might be able to install those this weekend as well! This'll be a fun weekend!
-
Definitely! Thanks guys, I for sure won't be venturing out for awhile, but thanks for the invites! I need to get my basic stuff down pat and get more comfortable, on the bike and the thought of being on the road with all the other drivers and no protection. Much thanks to Yotaman for offering his help and for everyone else. Field trip to my place this weekend!! I'll get some pizza or wings or whatever and a cooler full of refreshments and we can just hang. I'm free all weekend except saturday night. And my garage is huge, so the more the merrier! Matt
-
We can all go and make it a field trip!!! +1!! What are you guys doing Saturday or Sunday morning? I vote for meeting there but I don't care if you want to ride with me. Iron Pony is on my way from my apt to my garage so that works for me. Damn! 5 quarts @ $13 a pop, oh boy! How often do I change it? I'll call you back here shortly...
