  1. I can bet your head fits nicely into an Arai RadioFlyer

As for spending 500 on a helmet. I've always viewed it as the helmet is protecting my head, which contains my brain which differentiates me from a brocolli. True that just about any helmet that is more than 200 will probably do fine on the protection part, the extra I've always viewed for the creature comforts. My shoei fits my head wonderfully, is very light and comfortable, and it gives me the amount of airflow I need. This to me is worth the difference in price between say a mid level HJC and a mid level Shoei.

  2. I first started with a set of steel toed boots, then a set of alpinestars, currently I run Sidi B2s. THe only complaint I have with the Sidi's is they do get a bit hot. I've spent entire days on my feet walking around in them and never really got uncomfortable. The toes on motorcycle boots tend to be made a bit slimmer to better accommodate shifting. Truthfully though do note that snapping the ankle it will never operate the same, it's similar to how if you break your wrist you usually can't really build up more strength than what you had in it before you broke it.

Fwiw Mid-Ohio track days specify riding boots that fully cover the ankle.

  3. Alright, got a few things up. One is a Samsung sch-i760 for Verizon network. Upgraded to a newer phone so have it around. Great and rugged unit. Currently have the phone itself and the charging cable. 150 takes it home.

The next item I have is the chatterbox X1 GMRS radio. Basically attached to the side of the helmet, or can be stowed away in a bag when you use the extension cable. Allows communication to other riders or to anyone using a GMRS or FRS radio, as well as can be hooked up to a cellphone/mp3 player. Looking to get 260 for it.

Stock SV650 exhaust. It came off a 2nd gen, full header back. Offers?
