yeah i dont think there's any special time to buy em tho. just keep up on vendor GB's n such on forums...cyclesector has BT016s/BT002s for 239 shipped..not sure about STG, seems like all michelins but im prolly wrong

^ Astar stuff is decently priced, holds up well, looks a lot better than icon crap. Tons of options on boots, astar, sidi, tcx, etc..leather is always nice, but I've heard some textile jackets hold up very well too. I always ride with jacket, boots, gloves, and helmet.
