It's kind of funny you brought it up. I like pmags because they don't ding up my lower and are very durable, like my ARs looking like new.. LOL They do look better than USGI mags. But as for functionality, I don't see a pmag being better than the newer USGI mags with the anti-tilt followers. Most of my friends that have served in iraq or afganastan prefer the USGI mags for some reason. I really don't know why, Maybe because they are lighter and have been proven in combat and can be used for many many years to come. Plastic does change properties through time. Pmags haven't been out that long to test if they are as durable as they were new 20 years from now. The USGI mags has. That is my theory... lol

Reid just came out and said if there is an AWB portion of the bill when the bill comes out of the judiciary committee, it would not even be discussed/debated on the senate floor. Which means that the bill dies right there. If anything were to happen in the senate, the AWB has to be left out of the bill. They are willing to discuss unspecific magazine size and expanding background checks. This is all coming from the Democratic controlled senate. It just confirms that the chances of an AWB is at a big fat goose egg right now.

20 per pmag isn't lowball. If you can still back order them for 12.95 and get them with in a month, then 20 per mag is a very good offer. People should just wait a few month. There will be a flood of Pmags on the market in august or sept. Wholesalers, distributors, and retailers will have soo much Pmags in their inventory that they will not know what to do with except them them on massive sale. Same thing happened in 2009. By sept they dropped below 10 dollars per mag.

Agreed. Those are the retailers that will continue to get Pmags and large orders of Pmags from magpul. Pmags doesn't allow their pmags to be sold above MSRP. That is their policy and they have stated they will cancel orders from retailers and pursue legal action against them for selling them above MSRP. I would backorder from Brownells, DSG, Midway, with out hesistation. You will probably get them with in a month or two.

you can take any assembled upper, lets say one from AIM or PSA. Have the barrel cut down to a 10.5in and rethreaded for a flash supperssor and use it as a pistol upper or sbr upper. Gun Envy only charges 75 to cut down the barrel and rethread. It is easier and maybe cheaper than trying to build one your self in this market.

I wouldn't pay 25 a piece for them. But I am thinking in terms of the prehysteria mind set. They are on par with pmags. I prefer pmags though.

I think all walmart stores are limiting ammo purchases.

G26, Shield, XDS, P938 are all way better than the LC9. It isn't a bad gun for the price. But if price isn't a problem. Stay away from the LC9.

No idea yet. I know I want to build a AR pistol and a piston AR with the adams arms kit and a few more ARs just because I can. But I will wait till the prices come down and the madness to stop before I do anything with the lowers. I also have a few rock river complete lowers and 2 mega billets. I guess you can never have enough lowers.
