heavier grain bullet is better for long distance shooting and makes a better defensive round in urban situations. I shoot Black hills 77gr OTM in my SPR, if I can't find the black hills, I ususally just go to the Hornady 75gr OTM. I also keep a few mags loaded with BH 77gr OTM for when SHTF situations. I really need to start reploading because it gets pretty expensive to shoot those rounds. I also find that I get much better groupings with the 77gr OTM in my 12in SBR, but I am pretty sure that it is because the BH stuff is a much better/consistant load than the XM855 and XM193 that i ususally shoot. Gun Envy and Delta will probably not see a shield for a while unless they get really lucky. They are not high enough volume store. Vances on the other hand sell a ton of S&W guns and they will always receive their shipments first. Tell your friends to go order the shield in the 40 from vances. You only have to put 10% down to get on the backorder list. It is probably your best chance of getting one at a decent price. Waiting for guns like these to come in to stock at any gun store would be a very long wait.
