  1. Oh. Okay. Well, fortunately I don't care, just trying to help you all out with your planning for coming to my city next year. Signing back off now for another couple years or so.
  2. If I can make a suggestion for yous guys. I live downtown near German Village and know the city pretty well. If you want to try to avoid the traffic, parking issues and high hotel prices right there at the convention center consider this option instead. Try the Comfort Inn & Suites at 650 South High Street, Columbus, OH, 43215. They are in a perfect location for a few reasons: The Cbus Circulator stop is right across the street. This is the FREE shuttle that runs all the way up to the Short North and back. It's clean and safe for all you non-city folks who fear the city. Or you can Uber, cab, or walk. The area is clean and safe. You can bar hop straight up and back High St to the Convention Center and beyond. Panera is right across the street or lots of little restraunts and diners everywhere They have free parking at the hotel for people staying there I'm pretty sure they've been recently remodeled as well. A friend stayed here twice and seemed to like it. He is in the moto-industry as well. I checked their hotel website and they are not booking for that weekend yet. You may be able to get a group rate if you want to call now. Get ahead of the rest of the industry. For those not familiar with Columbus, we have gone through sooooo much change and building like crazy. It's clean, safe and plenty for everyone. It's so perfect for conventions like this now. I wouldn't have said that even a year ago, but downtown is a hot bed of activity all weekend long now. It's night and day from where it was even just a few years ago. If you need tips or suggestions feel free to reach out to me. I love playing tour guide.
  3. I appreciate that. Honestly though, I'm kind of in a been there done that phase of my life with the large group rides and always being one-of-the-guys. Rather ride with some cool ladies and their significant others like who I meet at the rally every year and of course Pauly and his wifey. Wish everyone lived closer. :/
  4. Cool! Thanks! My boyfriend lives in Urbana. How close are you there? I've never ridden in his neck woods as it seemed flat and straight that way. Any of the other girls here in Cbus?
  5. Ha! Well thanks for trying, but honestly, I'm not doing this outreach for the rally. I just really want to meet some more lady riders local to me. But to the "lesbians needing shown how to ride" comment! That cracked me up. I'm honestly glad whoever makes these assumptions of this event and other events like it stay away. They would only taint (pun intended) the awesome that it is each year. The people that go are the right people to be there and thankfully that's all that matters.
  6. Thanks Paul and Jason. Good to know there are a few out there even if not on here. I DEFINITELY have no interest in staying or communicating on this forum. I really just want to find some cool girls who ride sportbikes and wear gear instead of posing to get attention. I have to wait every year for the rally or special occasions to meet and ride with them. I know we exist locally. Just trying to find them is all. :/
  7. If there is...point me to it. I couldn't find it! Okay guys, if you know of some ladies who ride (sportbikes with gear - yes, I'm a snob in this manner and don't care) but don't get on this forum can you share where they visit most so I can find them? Instagram? Facebook? I know they're out there, I want to find them. I know this seems like a weird post, but as the founder of the Women's Sportbike Rally and it hitting it's 10th year, I'm saddened that I don't know any ladies here local in Columbus that I can ride with. I had to start a rally and travel to Deals Gap to make it happen. Where are they?
  8. If you're here, post up ladies! We have stuff to chat about!
  9. Hello peeps! I haven't been on here forever so forgive me if a post similar to this exists...really didn't want to go digging. Lazy like that! So I'm wondering where all the gals are who ride sportbikes. Specifically ones who prefer riding in gear (helmet, jacket, etc.) and on curvy roads. It's been forever since I've met riders like that here local in Cbus. Are any on this site?
  10. Yes it is! It's going to be even better with a little upgraded suspension.
  11. Haha!!! Got it covered man! Thanks Ryan for replying. I'll get with you on more details soon. Just ordered the front today. Hoping to have that soon. Doesn't look like I'll have the shock until after the track day though.
  12. Paul, I'm pretty sure I'll never own a Ducati. Pretty bike, but nah! And I keep forgetting about you being all motor mechanic guy. I could always bring my baby boy up to you! Looks like I won't have my rear suspension before the track day though. The front stuff should be here soon. I think they're shipping today.
  13. I'm pretty excited by it. This bike is probably the most fun bike I have ever owned (second only to my supermoto) even with the crappy suspension and throttle twitchiness. I need to learn more about the ECU thing. Heard about what it can do and would looooove to get the throttle smoother responding.
