Well thanks for the offer APCh8r. I called a local honda dealer and they had some for 115. I hate to have to pay that much for a single trip, but I dont want to go to Daytona bikeless. Im just trying to be prepared if the trailer doesnt arrive monday.

Unfortunately I borrowed 2 2X6's and they bowed really bad when my buddy got on them and he only weighs about 250. Since my bike weighs about 700 I wouldnt want to chance that. I like the idea of the ditch thing but I would have to drive the bike and the truck at the same time. That would be a feat in itself and I dont think I would need ramps if I could accomplish that.

I need help in locating some ramps so I can load my Honda VTX 1300R into the back of my Silverado. I have purchased a trailer to take my bike down to Daytona next weekend but I dont know if it will be here in time. It is suppose to arrive on Monday but I wont know until then. If anyone has a set of loading ramps I could borrow for 2 weeks it would be greatly appreciated, or a place I can purchase a set for a reasonable price. I dont want to spend too much because they will only be used for this trip. If the trailer arrives on Monday then I wont need them. I will be leaving Thursday morning the 5th and returning sometime between the 13th and the 15th.

I am in school on mondays and wednesdays from 5:30 to 7:30 and tuesday and thursday from 8 to 10. So no bike nights for me until after 12/20 but then there wont be any bike nites.... Have to wait til summer next year i guess!!!!

I would be game for a Cbus trip. Never been there so it would be a whole new 'ride' for me...and Lisa of course . R1 and I were looking at the map today and thought that your keys might have been dropped between the first bridge when you get on at 301 and the second bridge. Will have to take another look.

Where is Beachwood? Close I hope, but not likely. If you leave at six and get into Elyria about 7 or so then that only gives an hour since it starts to get dark earlier now then it did last month. I will give you a call about noon or so if that is a good time for ya. Mike

Inyaazz, it appears that sunday is a go but I havent seen anything about a definite meeting place yet. I would assume the west side folks would be meeting at QSL about noon. Im in for the ride on Sunday afternoon. I am in Elyria. QSL in Sheffield would be a good place to start for anyone on the west side, but that is only an opinion. If you decide to ride the valley parkway it would be a nice 'slow' ride since there isnt anywhere to really open it up, however, getting there could be a different story if we take the 90 to get there and then backroads to get back. Im not sure of anywhere to eat in that area though, although I do remember something within the park that had some type of food. I have never been there so I dont know what type of eating would be offered.

OK. Two weeks from today sound good? Anywhere between 11 & 1? Dont know of a meeting place although I guess we could start at Quaker in Sheffield since I am sure everyone knows of where it is. A route will need to be chosen and I am not sure of anywhere other then to go. I will see if I can get some of my friends to ride along too.

Im good to ride on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I start school on Aug 20th and go Monday thru Thursday. My first available weekend will be Friday the 17th of Aug. I will be 3 weeks without riding so I will be willing to go anywhere at that point. I have a friend with a sportsbike and I think he has some friends with sportbikes....me?? I have a cruiser...but ridin's ridin...... Labor Day Weekend might be good riding for at least one day (gotta think of those with little ones).

Unfortunately I will be out of town for the next 3 weeks. I will be back in Cleveland next Friday night and flying back out on Sunday to Texas and the weekend after I will be in California. The next available weekend for me is the 18th and/or 19th or the 1st of Sept. I will be free next Saturday day or night. I will be itchin for some riding time by then anyways.

I would love to hook up with anyone in the lorain area. I am originally from California so I dont know many riding spots. I have a couple of friends that would probably hook up too. I have been living in Elyria since June '05. Just got my bike in March though. OH. And I graduated in '81 so Im not much of a youngen these days either...
